The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially confirmed that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state registered twice for permanent voter’s card. The electoral law makes it a big offence to engage in double registration for which the governor is now been accused by INEC.  According to INEC, Governor Bello illegally registered for voter’s card in Abuja and Kogi. However, INEC said it was handicapped in taking action against the governor because he is covered by immunity, according to a report by Premium Times. Information has it that photographs of the governor showing him being registered by INEC officials in his office in Lokoja, his state capital had given him up.INEC’s national commissioner and chairman in charge of voter education committee, Solomon Soyebi, said: “The governor’s double registration and doing so outside INEC’s designated centres are both illegal.”  INEC said it did not order any staff or citizen to re-register him or any citizen or to do s

The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken over some properties traced to a former special adviser to Dan Abia,erstwhile managing director of Niger Delta Commission (NDDC) Mr George Turnah. The anti-graft agency said the confiscation was done on Thursday, May 25 following an interim forfeiture order granted it by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. It was learnt that one of the properties covered by the forfeiture order is a massive complete building known as ‘KOLO VILLA’ in Kolo Town, Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa state. The EFCC said apart from the properties, the court also ordered the taking over of some accounts belonging to the suspect. Billionaire Ivan Don Ssemwanga is Dead. Before his death he was the ex-husband to Diamond Platnumz current girlfriend and babymama, Zari Hassan. He was aged 39. Ivan died this morning at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria South Africa, where he was admitted barely two weeks ago in critical condition after he fell unconscious at his home following a heart condition that burst two of his blood vessels.
