Exclusive: Two Britons and one US citizen are among dozens who have surrendered or been caught at Turkish border Large numbers of foreign fighters and sympathisers are abandoning Islamic State and trying to enter Turkey, with at least two British nationals and a US citizen joining an exodus that is depleting the ranks of the terror group. Stefan Aristidou, from Enfield in north London, his British wife and Kary Paul Kleman, from Florida, last week surrendered to Turkish border police after more than two years in areas controlled by Isis, sources have confirmed to the Guardian. Dozens more foreigners have fled in recent weeks, most caught as they tried to cross the frontier, as Isis’s capacity to hold ground in Syria and Iraq collapses. MAN CHARGED WITH THE MURDER OF POPULAR ITALIAN RESTAURANT BOSS,RONCARI

Late Giuseppi Roncari AKA Giorgio A man has been charged with murder following the death of a popular restaurant boss. Giuseppi Roncari, also known as Giorgio Roncari, 61, was found dead at his home in Blackburn Street, Salford . Vincenzo Tavano, 27, of Park Lane, Poynton , will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today charged with murder, theft of bank cards and cash and taking a vehicle, a black Jaguar, without consent. Another 43-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder has also been released on bail. Giuseppe Roncari, also known as Giorgio, was found dead at a house in the Trinity area of Salford earlier this month. Police were called to a property on Blackburn Street, Trinity, at around 7.20pm on Monday, April 17. The 61-year-old, who was the former boss of Avalanche restaurant in Manchester city centre , had suffered injuries and Greater Manchester Police launched a murder investigation.

100 OFFICERS RAID HOMES IN CONNECTION TO A CAR LEASING SCAM,5 MEN ARRESTED

Five men have been arrested after more than 100 police took part in dawn raids to disrupt a high value car leasing scam. Officers from Cheshire Constabulary and Greater Manchester Police targeted suspected criminals in eight properties across Oldham , Levenshulme and Stockport . The men, aged between 28 and 58-years-old, remain in police custody. It follows an investigation into an organised crime gang who are thought to have been fraudulently leasing high value cars, which are transported overseas and then never seen again. Det Sgt Brian Faint, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Economic Crime Unit, said: “Organised crime groups bring misery and pain to our communities. “Fraud is not a victimless crime and today’s operation was a great success. GHANA-MAN KILLS SON FOR RITUALS

A 31-year-old farmer, Abdul Salam, has been arrested by the Asankragwa police for purportedly killing his six-year-old son for alleged ritual purposes. The incident reportedly occurred at Adidaase, near Amanso Amenfi in the Wassa Amenfi District of the Western Region yesterday. According to eyewitness reports, the man allegedly cut off his son’s head and legs to be sent to a spiritualist to help him (father) get more money. Some of the residents explained that the mother reported to the elders of the farming community that her six-year-old boy had got missing. The unit committee members in the area subsequently formed a search party to look for the little boy. When the father, Abdul Salam, was confronted, he allegedly admitted killing his own son and removing some parts of the body for rituals. “Upon interrogation, Abdul Salam confessed that he murdered the little boy to sell the head and the legs for ritual purposes,” one resident alleged.
