OKLAHOMA TEEN ARRESTED AFTER STRANGLING AND CUTTING 4 YEAR OLD"S THROAT

DEL CITY, Okla. — An Oklahoma teen is facing serious charges after allegedly attacking a 4-year-old left in his care. According to affiliate KFOR, the 17-year-old family friend was at the family’s home early Sunday morning before they were supposed to head to church. The mother reportedly left the home for no more than 30 minutes and when she returned she discovered her young son in the bathroom with what police said was “a pretty good cut right under his throat.” Authorities also said the child had been strangled. The victim claimed he had been asleep when the teen entered his bedroom, put his hand over the child’s nose and mouth, and slashed his throat. The child was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The ongoing war of words between the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, and Sen. Isah Hamman Misau, may be far from over, as the lawmaker, on the floor of the Senate today, alleged that the Police chief has impregnated now marry a female police officer, which he said, is against the rule of the Police Service (PSC). Senator Misau said the lady in question had since been promoted, despite her lack of qualification for the new rank. The senator, who is currently briefing his colleagues, said the corruption in the Force, under Ibrahim Idris, should not  over looked if the integrity of the Force must be restored.

The Lagos State police command has arrested two Uber drivers, Fosta Rufus, 30, and Franklin Jogbodo, who specialize in robbing women of their valuables at gunpoint in Lagos. While parading the suspects before newsmen at the state police command in Ikeja, the state commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi, said the men attacked women who they pick up around the Lekki, Ajah and Victoria Island areas of the state. According to him, items stolen from their victims’ include jewelry, expensive phones, and cash. He said the men sometimes follow their victims to an ATM from where they would force them to withdraw cash at gunpoint. The police boss said a KIA Rio with registration number BDG 376 EP used by the suspects to carry out the crime have been recovered. GUNMEN KIDNAP MUSICIAN,SHOOT WIFE

Gunmen have abducted a popular musician, Mr. Joseph Osayomore, in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. Osayomore was said to have been whisked away by the abductors at Orovie village, off Upper Ekehuan road, at about 10pm on Tuesday. It was learnt that his wife  sustained gunshot wounds during the kidnap. The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Moses Nkombe, who confirmed the incident noted that security agency received a report of the abduction at about 11pm. Online medium, Sahara Reporters, which revealed the video of the protesting residents, said aggrieved are mostly made up of women and youth. DELKALB MAN DIES AT HOME AND NOBODY NOTICED FOR OVER A YEAR UNTIL NOW

About a year ago, maybe two, police believe a DeKalb County man in his mid-forties died at home. Nobody found him until Friday, when a homeless man who'd been coming by to scavenge as of late spotted the remains, according to police. The homeless man told a neighbor, who suggested the man call police, but he didn't, so the neighbor called Monday. Authorities responded and saw the skeleton through a window of the home on Telstar Drive in the Ellenwood area. It lay in bed. Shiera Campbell, DeKalb police spokeswoman, said the county medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death for the man, whose identity hasn't been released. But it may be a challenge. "Right now, they don't even know how long he's been dead," Campbell said. The going theory Monday was that he could've been dead two years. A mere sixteen-year-old boy has been caught on tape showing off to his friends as he killed a man with a single punch. Connor Stewart, a 16-year-old boy has been jailed for three years after he was filmed taunting and then killing a man with a single punch. According to Metro UK, Connor Stewart shadow-boxed Michael Rhodes, 47, as he showed off playing the 'big man' in front of a group of friends. Mr Rhodes holds his hands up in defence before being punched by Stewart who left him with a fractured skull and bleeding onto the pavement . Stewart can be seen running away from the scene outside a shop in Blackpool as Mr Rhodes lies dying on the floor. Preston Crown Court was told that Stewart initially tried to claim that it was in self defence. SMUGGLERS DISGUISED AS MOURNERS ARRESTED

The Seme command of the Nigeria Customs Service has seized a smuggled L450 SUV that was disguised with posters of a deceased person supposedly going for burial. The disguised jeep which was purportedly taken a corpse for burial was discovered to be smuggled into the country. Customs Public Relation Officer (PRO) , Seme Area Command; Mr Taupyen, Selchang, explained that, apart from the SUV, a waste disposal truck was also seized. According to the PRO, the truck was found to have been stuffed with 534 pieces of used tyres. Commenting on the two seizures, the Customs Area Controller assured "that no amount of antics devised by smugglers will go undetected by the officers The PRO gave the identities of suspects arrested in connection with the two seizures as: Taofiq Oyewale and Segun Oyinola.

NURSE ARRAIGNED FOR STEALING PHONE

A nurse, Tinanja Inyang, 46, has been brought before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly stealing a telephone valued at N17,000. Inyang, residing at No. 13, Atanda Popoola Str., Alakuko in Agege, near Lagos, however, pleaded not guilty to a charge of stealing. Earlier, the Prosecutor, Sgt. Yomi Egunjobi, told court that the accused committed the offence on Sept. 12 at No 14, Atanda Popoola Str. in Alakuko. Egunjobi explained that the accused came to the shop of one Shogbeige Olajide, pretending to buy something and subsequently, stole the phone. He said that during police investigation, it was discovered that only the accused entered the complainant’s shop at the time the phone was missing. T
