Suspected Herdsmen Kidnap Three Edo State Teachers Returning from School March 01 2017 Suspected Herdsmen Kidnap Three Edo State Teachers Returning from School Three secondary school teachers in Ebomisi Secondary school, Ugbogiobo village, Ovia North East local government area of Edo State have been kidnapped by suspected herdsmen. According to The Nation report, The three male teachers were reportedly abducted on Monday while returning from school. Three other female teachers who were said to be in the company of the abducted teachers were allowed to go by the kidnappers. Students of the school on Tuesday abandoned classes and took to the Benin-Akure express road to protest their teachers’ abduction. The students set up bonfires on the road and left passengers and motorists stranded on the road for many hours. Xenophobia:Nigerians Storm South Africa Embassy,Demand Suspension Of Ambassador Nigerians, under the aegis of Advocates for Collective Transformation and Youth Empowerment Initiative, on Tuesday took the protest against attacks on Nigerians in South Africa to the country’s Embassy on Molade Okoya Thomas Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State. The protesters, who were mostly youths, occupied the frontage of the embassy, singing solidarity songs. Expressing their displeasure at the destruction and looting of business ventures owned by Nigerians in South Africa, they called on the Federal Government to shut down the South African high commission offices in the country. They also demanded that the government suspended the South African ambassador to Nigeria and other officials until the safety of Nigerians in South Africa could be guaranteed. EFCC Recovers More Vehicles And Bikes From Ex-Customs Boss March 01 2017 Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered vehicles and motorcycles from former Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde days after the  agency seized 17 exotic cars from a Kaduna warehouse belonging to Dikko. The latest items recovered include a 2013 model 32-seater Nissan bus, 42 cargo tricycles, one tipper truck, 16 motorcycles, over 500 rug carpets and two fire-proof safes.  Zonal Head, EFCC Kaduna, Bappa Ibrahim while briefing journalists on Tuesday said the recovery was based on intelligence report and tip-off . According to Ibrahim, the warehouse is located at Nnamdi Azikiwe Express Way,around NASFAT village, in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
