A chieftain in the People 's Democratic Party, PDP , Femi Fani - Kayode has just reacted to the recent picture of President Muhammadu Buhari with the All Progresssive's Congress and some other party leaders , which has been making rounds in the media within the last 24 hours . The President 's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity , Femi Adesina earlier announced that the APC leaders visited the ailing President in London yesterday , July 23. Fani- kayode, a strong critic of the Buhari -led government in his recent tweet this afternoon , said : " @ MBuhari was sitting like a 'stuffed mannequin '" with a strong opinion of doubting the authenticity of the picture. Recall , Fani - Kayode had earlier demanded a photo or video proof when the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo asserted the President was in high spirit after returning from a visit to him last week.

IGP Ibrahim Idris Borno State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Monday said two Boko Haram suicide bombers were killed in a failed attempt to attack displaced persons camps and University of Maiduguri. The police made this known in a statement signed by DSP Victor Isuku, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO). Isuku said the suicide bombers were killed by security operatives before they hit their targets. No fewer than 700 suspected cultists and 38 suspected armed robbers were arrested in different parts of Anambra in the last three weeks, Garba Umar, the state commissioner of police, has said. Umar told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday, July 23 in Awka that the arrests were clear signal that Anambra was no longer a safe haven for criminals. "This number of arrests within three weeks to me was unprecedented and we will sustain the tempo until we flush out all the bad eggs in the state,'' he said. He said that the police recovered several types of arms and ammunition from the suspects. The commissioner said that some of the suspects had been arraigned, while the command was still investigating cases leveled against others. He said that additional personnel had been deployed in Anambra by the Inspector-General (IG) to beef up the existing security in the state. Two armed robbers were reportedly shot dead in a gun battle with the Kano State Police command and gang of robbers who shot a Police Patrol vehicle along Kano/Zaria road at a point close to Garun Mallam Village arrested.
