"BUHARI WAS SITTED LIKE A MANNEQUIN" FANI-KAYODE REACTS TO APC GOVERNOR'S VISIT TO LONDON

A chieftain in the People 's Democratic Party, PDP , Femi Fani - Kayode has just reacted to the recent picture of President Muhammadu Buhari with the All Progresssive's Congress and some other party leaders , which has been making rounds in the media within the last 24 hours .

The President 's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity , Femi Adesina earlier announced that the APC leaders visited the ailing President in London yesterday , July 23.

Fani- kayode, a strong critic of the Buhari -led government in his recent tweet this afternoon , said : " @ MBuhari was sitting like a 'stuffed mannequin '" with a strong opinion of doubting the authenticity of the picture.

Recall , Fani - Kayode had earlier demanded a photo or video proof when the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo asserted the President was in high spirit after returning from a visit to him last week.

The Benue State government has denied the reports alleging that the consignments containing snakes intercepted by the Nigeria Customs in Calabar belongs to Governor Samuel Ortom. It described it as another desperate smear campaign by members of the opposition. A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment. Operatives of the Zonal Intervention Squad attached to Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos, have arrested a 75-year-old man, Olayiwola Araba, for allegedly supplying guns to vigilante groups without license.   The other suspects identified are 45-year-old Olarewaju Kabir, 35-year-old Oladele Jacob and 40-year-old Jide Akinola,who were said to have been arrested at different locations in the state.   The operatives who effected the arrest were said to have recovered nine rifles, two pistols and live ammunitions.Confirming the arrest, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police and zonal spokesperson, said the suspect was arrested for selling guns without license.   She said: "We are holding the seller and the buyers for illegal possession of firearms, because the seller has no document to show he has the approval of the police authority to sell guns to the public.   "We are going to conduct a discreet investigation into the business to identify the routes through which it come into th...

A teenage father with a tattoo covering half his face saying DEVAST8 has cried out over his struggle to get a job. 19 year old Mark Cropp , who was recently released from prison, put a plea out on Facebook saying his facial tattoo was stopping him securing employment. He also said his tattoo which is not gang affiliated- wasn 't planned and was not supposed to be quite as big. He got it a number of months ago while in prison serving a two year and three month sentence in the Otago Correction Facility for aggravated robbery, the NZ Herald reports.
