POPULAR HOME ALONE ACTOR FOUND DEAD IN HIS HOTEL ROOM

72-year-old Actor John Heard, who played the role of Peter McCallister in hit 90s movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, was reportedly found dead in his hotel room.
Though the cause of his death has not yet been made public, however TMZ reports that the police was called to the actor’s Palo Alto, California hotel room for a medical emergency, but Heard was pronounced dead on arrival.

The actor who was recuperating in the hotel after undergoing a “minor back surgery” on Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center, was married to actress Margot Kidder for less than a week in 1979.

His only surviving child, John Matthew “Jack” Heard, was conceived with ex-girlfriend, actress Melissa Leo.

Benue State Police Command has busted two kidnap syndicate of 8 including a Gang of 4 allegedly led by a woman believed to be an associate of the wanted militant leader, Terwase Agwaza, aka Gana, who a week ago abducted a businessman. The police operation also led to the arrest of three women whose responsibilities were to provide food for the victims, who was rescued alive. The businessman was kidnapped alongside his son, who was later released to source N20 million as ransom for his father.  The state's Police Commissioner, Bashir Makama, said: "During investigations, we discovered that the lady, who was arrested had the responsibility of pencilling down those to be kidnapped and those to be killed by the gang. They are all associates of Gana, the wanted militant leader. File Photo The Police at the Lion Building Division, Lagos Island, Lagos have arrested three suspected thieves who allegedly jumped into the High Court premises at Igbosere Road on Lagos Island at midnight with dangerous weapons to steal. The suspects, according to a Police source could not succeed in their plans before the Police stormed the scene to arrest them and took them to the station following a distress call to the Police by the securitymen attached to the Court.
