POPULAR HOME ALONE ACTOR FOUND DEAD IN HIS HOTEL ROOM

72-year-old Actor John Heard, who played the role of Peter McCallister in hit 90s movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, was reportedly found dead in his hotel room.
Though the cause of his death has not yet been made public, however TMZ reports that the police was called to the actor’s Palo Alto, California hotel room for a medical emergency, but Heard was pronounced dead on arrival.

The actor who was recuperating in the hotel after undergoing a “minor back surgery” on Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center, was married to actress Margot Kidder for less than a week in 1979.

His only surviving child, John Matthew “Jack” Heard, was conceived with ex-girlfriend, actress Melissa Leo.

The Nigerian Air Force has sentenced to death by hanging Airman Kalu Bernard, for killing his lover, Solape Oladipupo, aka Shomzy Shomzy, on March 12, 2017. The judgment, which started at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, dragged till 4 p.m. when it was stood down before the panelists reconvened at 7:30 p.m. Reading out the 70-page court findings, which lasted for about two hours, the Judge Advocate, Flight Lieutenant M.A. Umoh, listed the eight-count charges against 21-year-old Kalu to include murder, house breaking, impersonation, attempted murder, among others. The defense counsel, Abimiku Ewuga, urged the court to temper justice with mercy, saying the accused was his family breadwinner. The President of the court, Gp. Capt. A 40-year-old man, Stephen Akpata, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Onyinye Faustina Eze, to death at the Kpansia suburb of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. Ghanaian Reggae musician Ekow Micah has stood his ground regarding his stance for smoking "wee". Micah referred to the Holy Bible and cited an instance where God smoked marijuana popularly known as "wee" In an interview with Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM's "Entertainment Review", Ekow Micah said he smokes because the almighty God smoked. He quoted Psalm 18:7-8 to buttress his point. "The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it".
