I was shocked the more when I saw him swimming inside the gutter with ease in exchange for any paltry sum that will come from his numerous unsolicited employers. “I nearly blamed Buhari for what this man does to earn a living until I was told that he drinks ‘kai kai’ the way I drink water. 97 Nigerians deported from South Africa February 28 2017 About 97 Nigerians have been deported from South Africa for alleged civil and criminal offences. The deportees – 95 males and two females – arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport from Johannesburg on Monday night. Those accused of criminal offences were handed over to the police for prosecution, while those accused of committing civil offences were allowed to go home. This is coming a few days after a South African mob attacked Nigerians and their businesses in the country. The Nigerian government condemned the attacks, and also threatened consequences if they are not checked. The Nigerian senate has also resolved to send a strong delegation to the country to protest against the attacks. Obasanjo spotted in reading session with school children (photo) February 28  2017 Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has take a new dimension to celebrate his 80th birthday . Daily Trust reports that the ex-president took the train of celebration to some public-school students at his Ibogun village, near Ifo, Ogun state. He was spotted in a reading session with them. This is part of activities to mark his 80th birthday celebrations. He was in the company of his wife, Bola and some of his close allies as they were received by the school children drawn from Berly Chrysolite school (primary and secondary), Ewupe, Baptist Day school, Ibogun and baptist day school, Idi aga among others. Sleep longer for better sex,researchers advise women FEBRUARY 28, 2017 The longer women sleep, the more likely they are to want and enjoy sex, according to a research conducted by the North American menopause society. According to the study, sleep problems can interfere with a woman’s level of sexual satisfaction. Data analysed for 93,668 women aged 50 to 79 years showed that short sleep duration was associated with lower odds of sexual satisfaction. Short sleep duration was defined as fewer than 7 to 8 hours per night. 56% of the participants reported being somewhat or very satisfied with their current sexual activity while 52% reported partnered sexual activity within the last year. Insomnia prevalence was 31%. Older women were less likely to be sexually active if they slept fewer than 7 to 8 hours per night compared with younger women. Fayose:Obasanjo talks to remain relevant,I don’t take him seriously February 28 2017 Ayo Fayose, Ekiti state governor, has advised Nigerians to disregard the utterances of former President Olusegun Obasanjo regarding the emergence of an Igbo president in 2019. Fayose said this in an interview with  The Sun , claiming that the former military head of state, simply “runs his mouth to remain relevant” in the political sphere. Obasanjo had said, “Irrespective of the thinking of the people ahead of 2019, I personally think that south-east should have a go at the presidency too”. Fayose accused the former president of doing more harm than good towards national development. “Do you ever take Obasanjo seriously? I don’t take him seriously. By his nature, Obasanjo wants relevance at all times,” Fayose said. “We have worked with him and used to be his foot soldiers. I know him more than anybody in this country. Oyinbo man arrested for breaking traffic laws in Lagos(so what?) 28th Feb 2017, An oyinbo man was recently arrested by officers of the Lagos state police command, for reportedly breaking traffic laws of the state. According to reports, the boss of a company known as Mantra Protection Solution, arrested for allegedly disobeying traffic rules. The man who was in a black Toyota SUV, was being escorted with a white Hilux van when they committed their offence. They were said to have used their siren illegally and also ignoring traffic lights. He is still at the police custody as at time of filling this report.

The fire started at 6 am on Tuesday,February 28, 2017 which was allegedly caused by faulty air conditioner. A resident said,“The fire started around 6am and all of us came out to assist Banky in putting out the fire. “However, Fire service officials arrived around 7.30.“So many items were destroyed including Banky’s awards.” However, officials of the fire service arrived over an hour late to put out the fire.

Woman Allegedly Murders Lover,Dumps Body in a Bush in Ogun State(Photo) 28TH FEB 2017, A 37-year-old woman, Rukayat Basorun, has been arrested by the police in Ogun State in connection with the alleged murder of her lover. It was alleged that Basorun alongside two friends of the suspect, Omobola Shodimu and Aanu Owoade, connived in the murder before dumping the body of the man in the bush. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abimbola Oyeyemi, said in a statement that the suspects were arrested in Simawa, Sagamu Local Government Area of the state. Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, stated that Rukayat and her accomplices conspired and secretly dumped a corpse in the bush. It was revealed that the man died in mysterious circumstance after he reportedly came to spend some time with her. Police Inspector Caught Trafficking 75 Sacks of Cannabis with Police Staff Bus (Photo) 28th Feb 2017, A serving police inspector,Abali Zagi has been arrested by men of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kogi State trafficking cannabis weighing 818kg. He was paraded alongside 14 suspected drug peddlers,including a dismissed Army Corporal,Umar Shehu with over 1,083.6 kilogrammes of cannabis,valued at N6 million. The State Commander Mohammed Bello Idris said the policeman was apprehended with 75 sacks of cannabis, weighing 818kg, around Kabba junction, while returning from Okpela in Edo State. The seized drug, worth N4 million, was loaded at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, into a welfare vehicle marked NPF7973C. Shehu was arrested with 44kg of suspected cannabis by policemen at Obajana and handed over to the NDLEA. Obiora and two others were also arrested with 190 blocks of cannabis and 155.5kg, by the patrol team of the Army, on the Lokoja-Abuja highway
