Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has take a new dimension to celebrate his 80th birthday .
Daily Trust reports that the ex-president took the train of celebration to some public-school students at his Ibogun village, near Ifo, Ogun state. He was spotted in a reading session with them. This is part of activities to mark his 80th birthday celebrations.
He was in the company of his wife, Bola and some of his close allies as they were received by the school children drawn from Berly Chrysolite school (primary and secondary), Ewupe, Baptist Day school, Ibogun and baptist day school, Idi aga among others.
As at time of this report, the former president was telling a popular fable of the legendary tortoise.

Commissioner of Police Olafimihan Adeoye, who paraded the suspects, said they were arrested on October 6, 2017, following a tip-off and investigations. He said one Sehidu Aliu, also known as 'Alaga,' who is now on the run, is leader of the suspected ritualists. 97 Nigerians deported from South Africa February 28 2017 About 97 Nigerians have been deported from South Africa for alleged civil and criminal offences. The deportees – 95 males and two females – arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport from Johannesburg on Monday night. Those accused of criminal offences were handed over to the police for prosecution, while those accused of committing civil offences were allowed to go home. This is coming a few days after a South African mob attacked Nigerians and their businesses in the country. The Nigerian government condemned the attacks, and also threatened consequences if they are not checked. Remember sometime back,we reported a case of a family wiped out by the dreaded BADOO gang in ikorodu area of Lagos state,the notorious gang has again wiped out another family of five in Ikorodu, including a pregnant woman. A pastor and his wife have been brutally murdered right inside their home as their little daughter watched on quite helplessly. Proud Kanyungwe, a Zimbabwean pastor and his wife, Belinda Tarisai Mukucha have been killed. The pair were shot and killed by two armed robbers in South Africa while their two daughters, one of them aged three years, watched helplessly. According to The Chronicle, the armed robbers went away with two cellphones and a laptop. Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Captain Kholeka Mhlongo confirmed the incident, which occurred on Thursday shortly after 2AM at the couple's rented home in Scottsville Extension in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal province. Capt Kholeka Mhlongo said the suspects used a concrete brick to break the front door to gain entry into the house.
