A church leader has been caught in a messy scandal after details of his secret affairs with as many as 33 girls emerged. Nyasha Light Nyatsungo, a Zimbabwean church leader in Mutare is facing legal action after a nude photo of his ex-lover was leaked on social media. According to H-Metro, Nyasha Light Nyatsungo, allegedly sent a n*de picture of his Cape Town based ex–side chick, Shingi Mavenge, to his other girlfriend only identified as Beula who later broadcasted it on social media. In an apparent fit of rage, Mavenge posted a whatsapp chat she had with Nyatsungo's wife identified as Nyasha Nhahumbi as well as a group chat with some of her former lover's concubines. According to Mavenge, she has gotten information that Nyatsungo has at least 33 girlfriends and has ditched his wife of eight years. The Lagos Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has signed into law Life Imprisonment or death penalty for the offence of Kidnap and forceful extortion in Lagos State as he signs into law the state kidnapping prohibition bill, 2016. The law provides for death penalty for kidnappers whose victims die in their custody, and life imprisonment for the act of kidnapping. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Lagos State House of Assembly passed the bill on January 5. The governor said that the law was enacted to address key issues bordering on security. He said that kidnapping had become a major threat to the safety of residents and, therefore, required decisive action by the government. The murder trial of suspects who lynched Major Maxwell Mahama, commander of the military detachment at Denkyira-Obuasi, the Central Region of Ghana to death on Monday, May 29, 2017, after they mistook him for an armed robber, has begun. 26 suspects out of the 52 people initially arrested for allegedly taking part in lynching the late major were conveyed in a huge blue van, and arraigned at the District Court in Accra. Other 26 suspects who were discharged have also been arrested for the police to carry out further investigation. A motorcyclist and a driver appeared to be engaged in a confrontation as they sped down a freeway in Los Angeles. In the dashcam video posted online, the motorcyclist kicks out at the car. The driver then appears to lurch to the left in retaliation, but then crashes into the central reservation. Liberation war hero and musician Cde Dickson Chingaira known as "Cde Chinx" who died last Friday will be buried today at Glen Forest cemetery in Harare, as the family rejects President Robert Mugabe's offer to make him a liberation war hero. Cde Chinx who succumbed to cancer a week ago was 61. However, family spokesperson Mr Dick Chingaira (Junior), yesterday said the decision to bury the musician at Glen Forest cemetery was in consultation with Government.  "After consultations with the State, we decided to bury him at Glen Forest and we are on the same page with the State," he said. A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has ordered that a former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oloye Jumoke Akinjide and another chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Chief Olanrewaju Otiti be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the N650 million fraud allegedly collected to fund the 2015 election in the state. The court also ordered the anti-graft body to produce unfailingly the second defendant in the case, Senator Ayoade Adeseun who has failed to appear in court to face trial over the alleged fraud. At Thursday's hearing , counsel to the first and second defendants, Oloye Jumoke Akinjide and Senator Ayoade Adeseun ( at large) , Chief Bolaji Ayorinde SAN and Chief Michael Lana announced their withdrawal from the case amidst heated argument over a ruling by the presiding Judge , Justice Joyce Abdul-Malik .
