MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002. Ford is taking legal actions by suing the "American Grit" star for violating their contract by selling his new $500k 2017 Ford GT. According to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in Michigan, Cena was "selected from thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase the Ford GT," TMZ reported. The meeting of the Federal Executive Council that holds every Wednesday did not hold yesterday. Yesterday would have afforded President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country on Saturday the opportunity of presiding over the council meeting for the first time in over three months. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed in a statement that the meeting would not hold. Adesina did not however disclose the reason behind the decision to cancel the meeting.
