MOPOL ALLEGEDLY KILLS PROTOCOL STAFF OF PROTON SECURITY COMPANY AS COMPANY KEEPS COVERING UP INCIDENT-FAMILY OF THE DECEASED

THE LATE TUNDE OYELESE
A staff of Proton Security Services Limited Tunde Oyelese was shot dead in the early hours of Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the headquarters of the security outfit.According to family sources, Oyelese had gone to the office as usual alongside another colleague of his Tope who is popularly known as Tope Power in the office. Tope lived in the same Alakuko area of Lagos with him so they usually leaves home together in the same car.
The family said Tope and Tunde had left home around 5 am as usual to the office.Only for the office to call them that on getting to the office the security guard on duty was not around to open the gate for them to drive in, Tunde was reported to have gotten down from the vehicle to open the gate and was allegedly shot by armed robbers in the chest which eventually led to his untimely death.
Though Tunde is dead, his family members are crying foul as they claimed that there was no sign of blood stain around the gate area the office claimed he was shot dead by armed robbers. They arrived at the conclusion that something is fishy about the cause of his untimely death. They alleged that his corpse was taken to the mortuary in Lagos state University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) even before the arrival of any member of his family

In their investigation to the course of the deceased’s death, they said a student of Yaba College of Technology who lives around the office told them that he heard a gunshot within the premises of Proton Security few minutes before six am which alarmed people in the area but they later went on their normal duty as there was no commotion. With this the family of Tunde Oyelese are claiming that Tunde’s death might be as a result of accident discharge from one of the MOPOL or police officers attached to Proton Security and in their bid to cover up his employers claimed he was shot by armed robbers.
They also claimed that his colleague that he left home with has been playing hide and seek with his family members. He is said to be avoiding them and their joint friends so they will not ask him about the course of Tunde’s death which makes them believe he is hiding something from them in order to protect his job.All the family is asking for is that the company should provide the MOPOL that allegedly shot him straight in the chest and let him face the wrath of the law, and that his wife and family should be compensated by his employers.
Late Tunde is aged 46, worked as a protocol officer with Proton Securities in the last five years. He is survived by two children, a daughter aged five and a son less than two years. He also left behind his aged parents to mourn him.The remains of Tunde is still lying cold in the mortuary in LUTH as at the time of filing this report.
