ANOTHER MAN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE,FAILS,RESCUED AND TAKEN IN



A 45 year old man has been rescued after he allegedly attempted to commit suicide by jumping into a well at a residence in Kujore street in the Ojota area of Lagos state yesterday April 25th.

Men of the Lagos state Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were alerted at about 6am this morning after the man jumped into the 116 feet well.He was taken to the hospital for treatment by officials of the Lagos State Ambulance Service.

Sources said the man, whose name is not identified yet, was found inside the 116ft well, but the process leading to the event could not be ascertained.

Officials of the Lagos State Fire Service, LASEMA Response Team and other emergency respondents, however, responded to the situation and rescued the man alive from the well.

Though the man sustained  fracture on his right hand and left knee joint dislocation he has been moved to hospital for treatment by the officials of the Lagos Ambulance Service.

The General Manager LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu, who noted that proper investigation would be conducted on the incident, also advised Lagosians to report any strange activities around their environment to the relevant agencies or call the 767/112 emergency toll free number.
