           It is common knowledge that civilians,especially innocent ones are killed on almost daily basis in Nigeria,did I say almost,maybe daily.The ill trained Nigerian police force has uncountable cases of civilian killings to it's credit,thanks to the police authorities who always come out to defend such acts,or turn a blind eye or play deaf to such cases.

            The Special Anti Robbery Squad,SARS for short is another notorious wing of the police force known to track down deadly robbers and such related issues but also known for illegal arrests,extra judicial killings and many other alleged criminal acts,this time,another innocent life has been cut short.

            Family sources, friends and neighbours revealed that the tortured man was arrested on Friday, April 21, 2017 alongside four others during a raid at a spot for allegedly smoking Indian hemp.(Even so,is that criminal enough for torture and eventual murder)

 One of the victim’s co-suspects revealed that on getting to SARS detention facility at Dugbe, they received daily vicious beatings from the policemen who used what they claimed looked like hockey sticks and other iron materials to torture many detainees.

 The man reportedly died from the torture due to internal bleeding.

 Investigation further revealed that each of the other suspects’ relations and friends had to pay nothing less than 30,000 naira to get bailed after days without food.(Govt won't ask who collects this bail money and for what because the police hierarchy shares from this loot)

 It was further gathered that the deceased could not get to his family nor friends because his phone was seized and having realized that he could die in detention, the policemen quickly released him to a man (who also spoke on tape) who brought him to his house after paying 3,500 Naira as bail.

 According to the man, the police reduced the bail money to 5,000 Naira but when he could not raise up to that, they hurriedly released the deceased to him.

 But on getting home, as the man was being helped to alight from the motorcycle (Okada) that brought him home, he gave up the ghost just at the front yard of the house.

 One of those arrested and detained with the deceased, said he never smoked cannabis, even though he (co-suspect) admitted doing so.

 Neighbours also attested to the simple lifestyle and good neighborliness of the man.

 Meanwhile, family members have reported the matter at the Orita Police Division(where nothing would be done as usual) and have contacted pathologists to examine the body to determine the real cause of death.

 Police are yet to react to the incident,and may never react to this.

          The body of a man, who witnesses said was tossed from a plane, landed on a hospital roof in Mexico’s northern Sinaloa state on Wednesday, according to a public health service official in the region, which is home to notorious drug traffickers. KOGI GOVERNOR SEEKS ASSEMBLY'S APPROVAL FOR N11 BN SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, in a letter to the State House of Assembly, is seeking the approval of a supplementary budget of N11 billion for the 2017 fiscal year. The governor said the budget would take care of certain areas of economic development that were not previously captured.(Kogi state has not recorded any singular form of development since the present government came into existence) Bello stated that the budget would enable his administration to continue to execute its projects and programmes.(EFCC please note) The governor said it will also address security issues and other obvious sectors' challenges that are within and outside the current approved budget. After reading the letter to the House, Speaker Ahmed Imam directed the Majority Leader, Mathew Kolawole to slate it on the order paper for consideration at the next legislative day.
