Alleged murderer and violent MS-13 gang member Walter Yovany Gomez has been added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Mollie Halpern: Alleged murderer and violent MS-13 gang member Walter Yovany Gomez is added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
An up to $100,000 reward is available for information leading directly to Gomez's arrest.
Case Agent Daniel Brunner says Gomez sliced his friend's throat and stabbed him nearly 20 times back in May of 2011 in Plainfield, New Jersey.
Daniel Brunner: His friend never saw it coming. It was really very brutal. His friend never stood a chance.
Halpern: Gomez escaped and was last seen in Maryland.
Brunner: If somehow you know where he is, or if you're friends with a friend who's friends with him, I would like you to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. But for safety purposes, if you're physically near him, dial 911—get the police there as soon as possible.
Halpern: Gomez is the 513th fugitive placed on the famous list. He replaces Marlon Jones, who was captured last year when publicity surrounding the list led to a tip.

The half-brother of North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un was carrying an antidote to the poison which killed him at the time of his death, Malaysian state media reported. Malaysia's High Court heard this week Kim Jong Nam had 12 doses of atropine in his sling bag when he was allegedly swabbed with VX nerve agent in Kuala Lumpur International Airport on February 13, news agency Bernama said. A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment.           A 53-year-old Nigerian man who works at the United Nations was arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies in Manhattan, over the past month and a half, law enforcement sources tell News 4 New York. The NYPD’s Major Case Squad arrested Abdullahi Shuaibu, of Queens, on Monday, April 17th, at his office at the Foreign Press Centers across from the United Nations building. Police believe he robbed banks while on work breaks.          Law enforcement sources say Shuaibu robbed a HSBC bank at 40th Street and Third Avenue on Monday and then returned to work shortly before he was arrested.They say he’s wanted in at least three other bank robberies.          Shuaibu is listed as a communication specialist at the U.N.
