LAGOS POLICE VOWS TO STOP PROTEST

The Lagos State Police Commissioner Fatai Owoseni has vowed to stop Tuface's planned protest against the Federal Government slated for February 5 in the state.
Tuface Idibia had announced a nationwide protest in order to draw the attention of the government to the sufferings of Nigerians under this administration.
But Lagos COMPOL Owoseni who had earlier stated that there was no official request from the protesters notifying security agencies of their plan said on Wednesday that intelligence report indicated that criminals might hijack the process and that the police wasn’t ready for that kind of demonstration and as such would not allow it to hold.
“We know that Tuface does not have the capacity to contain such a crowd and we will not fold our hands and watch while things go out of hand.
“The Civil Society had said that they do not need police permission to carry out any peaceful protest but they should also be aware that there might be those who share an opposing view. This set of persons may want to disrupt the peaceful demonstration and would want to attack demonstrators,hence we advise individuals or group of persons who may wish to embark on civil demonstration to inform the police so that adequate security arrangement would be provided.”

Meet Lina, the Youngest Mother Ever to Give Birth at the Age of 5 Feb 10, 2017 May 14 1939,she gave birth to a baby boy by a Caesarean as her young pelvis was deemed to small for a natural birth. Her baby was born a healthy 6lbs and the infant was named Gerardo in honour of the doctor who delivered him. When Gerardo was born , the doctor discovered that despite being five years old, she had mature sexual organs and suffered from a a condition called precocious puberty. Gunmen suspected to be militants on Thursday morning invaded Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, Lagos, abducting the principals and some students. The kidnappers were said to have stormed the school in the early hours when the students were at the morning assembly. The gunmen abducted the principal of the junior secondary school, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade who is the Principal of the senior secondary school. They also abducted some of the students. Presenting the case to the House of Representatives, the member representing Epe Constituency, Wale Raji, appealed to the House to call on the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State to treat the case with utmost urgency. In an alleged ecstasy to impress their paymaster, a team of police operatives, on Sunday, shot dead one Elvis Ovie and injured another, Onome Eko, during a party in Warri, Delta State. Operatives, three of whom are now in police detention, were said to have been in a shooting spree to impress an alleged internet fraudster popularly called 'yahoo yahoo boys' for whom they were providing security. It was gathered that the gun-wielding cops were led by one Insp. Imana Samuel, a Sergeant and a corporal from the Warri Area Command. About a year ago, maybe two, police believe a DeKalb County man in his mid-forties died at home. Nobody found him until Friday, when a homeless man who'd been coming by to scavenge as of late spotted the remains, according to police. The homeless man told a neighbor, who suggested the man call police, but he didn't, so the neighbor called Monday. Authorities responded and saw the skeleton through a window of the home on Telstar Drive in the Ellenwood area. It lay in bed. Shiera Campbell, DeKalb police spokeswoman, said the county medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death for the man, whose identity hasn't been released.
