KOGI GOVERNOR IN VOTER REGISTRATION SCANDAL

Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, is enmeshed in double voter’s registration scandal, after he was pictured in his office registering as a voter the second time, having already registered in Abuja.

 Bello was shown being registered by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

 A group, Kogi For Change, in a statement signed by its chairman, Omeiza Yakubu, said it would take legal action in view of the illegality of Bello’s action.

 At the Kogi governorship election tribunal, the governor’s Chief of Staff, David Onoja, standing as a witness, had said his principal never registered to vote in Kogi, but Abuja.

 However, in the course of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise, Bello registered again, this time in his office, in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.

 “We got really concerned when we saw the picture of the Governor (Yahaya Bello) being registered by an INEC official inside his office,” said Kogi For Change. “Is the Government House a Registration Centre?”

 “The impunity that unleashed the governor on the state is at work again and we are not going to take it lightly. As a matter of fact we have decided as a group to take the matter to talk. It is a criminal offence to engage in double registration,” the group said. (Blueprint)

College of Education Staff Found Dead Few Hours After He Was Kidnapped in Benue 27th FEB 2017, A staff of College of Education (COE), Katsina-Ala, Godwin Yanbee Bosua, has been found dead few hours after his abduction last Saturday.  It was gathered that the victim, a former bursar with the College of Education, Katsina-Ala had gone to his private nursery and primary school, close to the college but was abducted on his way by unknown gunmen,Daily Post reports. February 13 2017 Maria Lynn Baker has been arrested for allegedly filming her sexcapades with boys aged 12 and 14 in a public toilet,she was held by police in Florida early Saturday morning on two counts of lewd and lascivious battery.     Agents from Ocala Police Department were called to an argument where a woman is believed to have shown cops footage of Baker having sex with an underage boy,28-year-old Maria was arrested by Detective Melissa Buetti on suspicion of having sex with a pair of underage boys in a public convenience.Buetti was told Baker was having sex with two 12- to 14-year-old boys inside a toilet at the War Memorial, in Silver Springs Boulevard, according to OPD officials. A suspected ritual killer, Adebayo Mudashiru, has confessed that he and his colleagues buy human parts, including skulls, eyes and teeth, for N12,000. The suspect was arrested alongside three others in the Abeokuta and Owode Egba areas of the state by men of the Ogun State Police Command. The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Magbon, Abeokuta over the weekend. Iliyasu said the four suspects specialized in killing for ritual purposes and belonged to two different ritual groups. He said one of the groups, comprising Mudashiru and Rasheed Abass, who resided in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, were arrested on 5 October by operatives of FSARS.
