COUPLE DIE MINUTES APART AFTER BEEN MARRIED FOR 69 YEARS

A 91 year-old man identified as Isaac Vatkin and his 89-year-old wife, Teresa Vatkin died minutes apart while holding hands. The couple had been married for sixty-nine years. Teresa, who had been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, died 12:10am while her husband gave up the ghost minutes after that too. Their hands were entwined. gathered that both Teresa and Isaac were at Highland Park Hospital in Skokie in Illinois. The latter had watched Teresa die. It was until their entwined hands were separated before they discovered Isaac had passed on too.

 The adorable couple met in their native Argentina; they got married and moved to Skokie where they raised their three children. A joint funeral was arranged for the couple on Monday, April 24. One of the children of the deceased said her parents’ love for each other was so strong they simply could not live without each other.

 Leonardo Vatkin, the couple’s son said his father did not want to do anything without his wife. Their grandson,William Vatkin, also had a beautiful testimony to share about the loving grandparents."You didn’t want to see them go, but you couldn’t ask for anything more."

It is truly beautiful seeing people who have married for so long holding on to love in their last days.

The Nigerian Air Force has sentenced to death by hanging Airman Kalu Bernard, for killing his lover, Solape Oladipupo, aka Shomzy Shomzy, on March 12, 2017. The judgment, which started at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, dragged till 4 p.m. when it was stood down before the panelists reconvened at 7:30 p.m. Reading out the 70-page court findings, which lasted for about two hours, the Judge Advocate, Flight Lieutenant M.A. Umoh, listed the eight-count charges against 21-year-old Kalu to include murder, house breaking, impersonation, attempted murder, among others. The defense counsel, Abimiku Ewuga, urged the court to temper justice with mercy, saying the accused was his family breadwinner. The President of the court, Gp. Capt. Saudi police shoot dead IS suspect MARCH 8TH 2017,          Police in Saudi Arabia said Wednesday they shot dead a member of the Islamic State group in the capital, the latest suspected jihadist to be killed by security forces. A 40-year-old man, Stephen Akpata, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Onyinye Faustina Eze, to death at the Kpansia suburb of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. A man has been arrested by the Egyptian police after he allegedly admitted to beating his 85-year-old mother to death because his wife complained about her. Ghanaian Reggae musician Ekow Micah has stood his ground regarding his stance for smoking "wee". Micah referred to the Holy Bible and cited an instance where God smoked marijuana popularly known as "wee" In an interview with Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM's "Entertainment Review", Ekow Micah said he smokes because the almighty God smoked. He quoted Psalm 18:7-8 to buttress his point. "The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it". This news comes after dancehall artist Samini admitted to also consuming the illegal narcotic in the comfort of his home. Ekow Micah was arrested, charged and put on trial for possessing illegal wee. He was later acquitted and discharged by an Accra Circuit Court.
