DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON FOR PRESIDENT 2020

Multi-talented Dwayne Johnson, also known as ‘The Rock’, says he will run for the office of the United States President in year 2020.

 He made the announcement to his over 86m Instagram followers on ”Saturday Night Live” which he hosted for the fifth time.

 The former Wrestler with 150m social media followers chose Tom Hanks, an American actor and filmmaker, as his running mate.

 Followers call
Most of his social media followers have been calling on the Fast and Furious star to run for President ever since Donald Trump who was not a regular politician became president.

 The Rock mentioned to his fellow club members on the SNL that people have been asking him to run for ”POTUS”, and he is obliging.

 ”I’ve heard you, America, 2020,” ‘The Scorpion King’ actor said on his Instagram page shortly before he announced it on the widely followed SNL show.

 ”In the past, I would have never thought of running for President. ”But now, I’m actually worried I’m too qualified.”

 He told the SNL audience that: “Starting tonight (Saturday), I am running for the president of the United States.”

 His chosen running mate standing on the podium with him responded by saying: ”the truth is, America needs us”.

 Judging from the comments on social media, many Americans believe the announcement was a joke while others express support for Johnson and Hanks presidency.

Heavily armed policemen on Tuesday in Dutse, Jigawa State capital, fired teargas canisters at a crowd that gathered at the Chief Magistrate Court Two for the arraignment of former governor Sule Lamido, who is being tried for making inciting remarks. Counsel for the Jigawa State Government, Ikenna Ekpunobi, insisted that Lamido should not be granted bail until investigation was completed. Emphasising that Lamido was charged with disturbing public peace and inciting public disturbance, Ekpunobi argued that the allegations were contrary to the provisions of the Criminal Code of Jigawa State. A middle aged man has been arrested in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital for being in possession of human parts. Tribune Online gathered that the suspect had been under surveillance of residents of Ita Kudimo, Abata Suban, Pakata area of Ilorin West local government in the past few days after speculation grew that he possessed a corpse in his building. It was also gathered that the neighbours of the suspect swooped on his residence at about noon on Sunday and the suspect was allegedly caught with human parts. ROUND LAKE BEACH.– Three teens have been charged after a suburban Illinois father was killed while trying to sell his iPhone using the popular app OfferUp, according to WGN-TV. Police say 43-year-old Trinidad Bueno-Sanchez of North Chicago, a married man with a 6-year-old child, did everything right when trying to sell his cellphone. Using OfferUp, he found a potential buyer who expressed interest in purchasing his iPhone 6 for $450, and agreed to meet them in the parking lot of a Meijer store in Round Lake Beach the evening of April 24. Five teens met him in the lot.
