POST LONDON TERROR ATTACK,A SISTER'S GRIEF

The heartbroken sister of a man missing since the London Bridge terror attack has said she believes he is dead.

Web entrepreneur James McMullan, 32, was smoking a cigarette outside the Barrowboy and Banker around the time the terrorists crashed the van outside the pub.

His heartbroken sister Melissa told Sky News: "This morning we received news from the police that my brother's bank card was found on one of the bodies from Saturday night's brutal attack.

"They are unable to formally identify him until the coroner's report begins tomorrow.

"We would like to send our condolences to the relatives and loved ones of all the people who lost their lives. Our thoughts are also with them at the time.

"We would like to thank the members of the services who did their utmost to serve and protect the public of London from these deranged and deluded individuals."

Fighting back tears, she paid tribute to her "unique" and "caring" brother.
She said: "While our pain will never diminish, it is important for us to all carry on with our lives in direct opposition to those who try to destroy us, and remember that hatred is the refuge of small-minded individuals and will only breed more.

"This is not a course we will follow, despite our loss.
"From his friends that were with him on the night, they want everyone to know what a generous caring friend he was, words will never be able to match his essence.

"There will only ever be one James, nowhere else will you find such humour and unique personality."
James's father, Simon McMullan, vowed to work on his "exceptional" son's business.

He said: "At this point in time the subject is too raw. I'm just going to try to keep the business that he was doing alive. He was working on it for two years."
James was working on a web-based business to 'revolutionise education', according to his father, 61.

Simon added: "He was on the verge of signing his first contract, a $1.5million deal. It will radically change the face of education - I am going to continue his work.

"My son really was an exceptional man."
He added the family would be issuing a further statement at a later date.
Before the family received the news, Melissa wrote an appeal on Instagram that no one had heard from him.

James hadn't returned home to his flat in Hackney, east London, and the friends he was with checked the area and hospitals with no luck.

She told Southwark News previously: "He went outside for a cigarette and the bouncers wouldn't let him back in so his friends said they would finish their drinks but they were rushed back upstairs into the pub.

"This was literally two minutes before the incident.
"He's not come home and isn't answering his phone so I don't think he is with anybody or he's dropped his phone."
