HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR AND WORLDS KNOWN OLDEST MAN DIES AT 113 YEARS OLD

The world's oldest man, Yisrael Kristal, has died at 113.Mr Kistral died on Friday, according to Israeli media.The Holocaust survivor had been certified the world's oldest man by the Guinness World Records last year.
"Yisrael Kristal... died on Friday a month before his 114th birthday," Haaretz Daily reported online.
Mr Kristal has lived through both World Wars and survived Auschwitz.He lost his wife and two children in the Holocaust, according to The Independent.
Mr Kristal was born in Zarnow, in what is now Poland, on September 15, 1903.After World War Two, he emigrated to Israel in 1950 and settled in the city of Haifa with his second wife and his son.
When receiving his Guinness World Record certificate last year, Mr
Kristal said: “I don’t know the secret for long life. I believe that
everything is determined from above and we shall never know the reasons
why.
"There have been smarter, stronger and better looking men than me who are no longer alive. All that is left for us to do is to keep on working as hard as we can and rebuild what is lost.”

News site Ynet said he was survived by two children, 9 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
