Notorious kidnap kingpin, Chukwudubem Onwuamadike, aka, Evans, who was arrested last Saturday at his Magodo Estate mansion, Lagos, has, amidst tears, cried out that he is being humiliated beyond limits, noting that he preferred dying than to continue living in pains. Benue State Police Command has busted two kidnap syndicate of 8 including a Gang of 4 allegedly led by a woman believed to be an associate of the wanted militant leader, Terwase Agwaza, aka Gana, who a week ago abducted a businessman. The police operation also led to the arrest of three women whose responsibilities were to provide food for the victims, who was rescued alive. The businessman was kidnapped alongside his son, who was later released to source N20 million as ransom for his father.  The state's Police Commissioner, Bashir Makama, said: "During investigations, we discovered that the lady, who was arrested had the responsibility of pencilling down those to be kidnapped and those to be killed by the gang. They are all associates of Gana, the wanted militant leader. Also arrested, after reliable information, is one Victor Ayanngor, who conspired with Ordue Abraham, Kelvin Dankor and Emmanuel Terver to kidnap his girlfriend and collect N200,000 ransom."

The Nigerian Union in South Africa says Nigerians living in two South African communities have been ordered by those communities to leave their land. This was made known by Ikechukwu Anyene, the President of the Union. Ayene said the Kuruman community in Northern Cape Province gave Nigerians until Thursday  to leave the place while the Klaafontein community, Extension 5, Johannesburg, took a more subtle approach and directed landlords not to renew the rent of Nigerians in the area. He said the South African's grouse with Nigerians is that they believe they are responsible for some social vices like illicit drug trade and prostitution. Officials have identified the three men killed after a UPS driver opened fire during a meeting at company warehouse in San Francisco. San Francisco's chief medical examiner identified the victims as 50-year-old Benson Louie and 56-year-old Wayne Chan, both of San Francisco; and 46-year-old Michael Lefiti, of Hercules. Police say the three UPS drivers were killed by 38-year-old Jimmy Lam, who fatally shot himself in the head in front of officers. A 45-year-old suspected ritualist who was arrested by the Police in Lagos with a human skull, has disclosed that he sold fresh human skull for N1 million. The suspect, Lucien Tusume, was arrested at Iraye village in Sagamu area of Ogun State, following intelligence report. Explaining the circumstance that led to the arrest of the suspected ritualist, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said some policemen, who disguised as buyers, contacted the suspect for a human skull. The suspect reportedly agreed to sell a dried skull for N150,000 to the undercover operatives, but the officers bargained for N81,000 which he accepted.The suspect later took the dried human skull to the 'buyers', and he was subsequently arrested after payment was made to him. The Imo State Police Command Tuesday said it did not abandon the families of the policemen who lost their lives during the February 22, 2017, bank robbery at the Wetheral Road branch of a bank in Owerri, the Imo State capital. The deputy headmaster of Makhulela Primary School in Bulilima District committed suicide by hanging after squandering $500 in school funds on beer. Headman Ndolwane said Themba Nyathi (50) was found hanging by a rope from the roof of his cottage located within the school premises on Monday morning. He said Nyathi allegedly committed suicide as school authorities were looking for him after he was sent to withdraw $500 from the bank, but did not report for duty for a week after withdrawing the money. Nyathi reportedly also tried to commit suicide during last school holiday while at his parent's home in Old Magwegwe Suburb, Bulawayo. Police officer who fostered a 14-year-old girl after she was rescued from child sex abuse went on to abuse her himself, a court heard. Social workers placed the teenager in the care of the serving Metropolitan Police officer and his wife and moved her 300 miles to live with the couple. Police arrested the officer when the teenager was found hiding in a stairwell near his flat after she was removed from his care. Indecent pictures of them were found on her mobile phone. Prosecutors say the girl now 16, is so emotionally damaged she regularly self harms, has post traumatic stress disorder and has repeatedly attempted to kill herself.
