The Niger State police command said on Tuesday that it had arrested two suspected killers of one Terna Cletus in the Tafa Local Government Area of the state. The suspects, Osita Chinemerem, a student of Dorben Polytechnic, and Maleh Lucky, were picked up by police operatives attached to the Tafa division. It was gathered that the operatives acted on the information that one Cletus, from Benue State State living in the Tafa LGA of Niger State was found dead with injuries on his neck. The Zamfara State Police Command on Wednesday intercepted two vehicles carrying arms in different parts of the state. The spokesman of the command, Muhammad Shehu, confirmed the development in Gusau. He told the News Agency of Nigeria that items recovered from the vehicles were three AK47 riffles, an automatic pistol, locally-made pistol, magazines and live ammunitions.   Four suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested in Benin City, Edo State, by the Nigeria police and have been handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes commission,EFCC. The EFCC in a statement issued on Tuesday gave the names of the suspects as Shiko Romeo, Bobby Edigiu, Henry Nisike and Emmanuel Ayo. The suspects, according to the EFCC, have reportedly confessed to their involvement in internet fraud using fake identification on Facebook. Their victims were mostly European and American women, the statement said. The EFCC said one of the suspects, Mr. Romeo, who claimed to be a student of the National Open University, NOUN, has revealed how he scammed the duo of K. Zamaripas and Susan of various sums of money by feigning to be in a romantic relationship using the name John Culfer in New Jersey, United States. The suspects would be charged to court at the end of the investigation, the EFCC said.
