AUTOPSY REVEALS REAL CAUSE OF JOY ODAMA DEATH

Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.

Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu.

Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body.

This result is also contrary to that of another medical official, Dr Jibrin, who claimed that the girl died after taking cocaine.

According to the Force Spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, who spoke with journalist, the new report done by CP Wilson Akhiwu a consultant, revealed that Joy died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.

The spokesman, debunking reports of police cover up said that the suspect, Usman Adamu has been arrested and would soon be charged to court.

The mother of the deceased student, had petitioned the IGP, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, accusing Usman of killing her daughter after luring her under the pretence of helping her financially.

The meeting of the Federal Executive Council that holds every Wednesday did not hold yesterday. Yesterday would have afforded President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country on Saturday the opportunity of presiding over the council meeting for the first time in over three months. Former President, Mr Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed the theft of his property from his house in Abuja. He confirmed the incident in a statement by his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze, following some media reports that the home was stripped bare and some of the items stolen were being sold in markets.
