AUTOPSY REVEALS REAL CAUSE OF JOY ODAMA DEATH

Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.

Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu.

Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body.

This result is also contrary to that of another medical official, Dr Jibrin, who claimed that the girl died after taking cocaine.

According to the Force Spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, who spoke with journalist, the new report done by CP Wilson Akhiwu a consultant, revealed that Joy died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.

The spokesman, debunking reports of police cover up said that the suspect, Usman Adamu has been arrested and would soon be charged to court.

The mother of the deceased student, had petitioned the IGP, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, accusing Usman of killing her daughter after luring her under the pretence of helping her financially.

Heavily armed policemen on Tuesday in Dutse, Jigawa State capital, fired teargas canisters at a crowd that gathered at the Chief Magistrate Court Two for the arraignment of former governor Sule Lamido, who is being tried for making inciting remarks. A middle aged man has been arrested in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital for being in possession of human parts. Tribune Online gathered that the suspect had been under surveillance of residents of Ita Kudimo, Abata Suban, Pakata area of Ilorin West local government in the past few days after speculation grew that he possessed a corpse in his building. It was also gathered that the neighbours of the suspect swooped on his residence at about noon on Sunday and the suspect was allegedly caught with human parts. Police say 43-year-old Trinidad Bueno-Sanchez of North Chicago, a married man with a 6-year-old child, did everything right when trying to sell his cellphone.
