AUTOPSY REVEALS REAL CAUSE OF JOY ODAMA DEATH

Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.

Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu.

Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body.

This result is also contrary to that of another medical official, Dr Jibrin, who claimed that the girl died after taking cocaine.

According to the Force Spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, who spoke with journalist, the new report done by CP Wilson Akhiwu a consultant, revealed that Joy died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.

The spokesman, debunking reports of police cover up said that the suspect, Usman Adamu has been arrested and would soon be charged to court.

The mother of the deceased student, had petitioned the IGP, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, accusing Usman of killing her daughter after luring her under the pretence of helping her financially.

ISRAEL HOSTS AMERICA'S FIRST MILITARY BASE ON IT'S SOIL TO CURB IRAN

Jerusalem – The U.S. Army has inaugurated its first military base in Israel,which sends a message of readiness to Iran in the region, local media reported on Tuesday. The base's opening comes as Israel faces a slew of regional threats, especially from its Iran, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said. The Israeli military said the new base is located inside an existing Israel Air Force base in the southern region. The American military base houses dozens of U.S. soldiers operating radar device alongside Israeli soldiers as U.S. radar has been operational on site for a decade, using American civilians to operate it.

2 MEN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED MURDER

The Niger State police command said on Tuesday that it had arrested two suspected killers of one Terna Cletus in the Tafa Local Government Area of the state. The suspects, Osita Chinemerem, a student of Dorben Polytechnic, and Maleh Lucky, were picked up by police operatives attached to the Tafa division. It was gathered that the operatives acted on the information that one Cletus, from Benue State State living in the Tafa LGA of Niger State was found dead with injuries on his neck. The command’s Public Relations Officer, Babalola Adewole, confirmed the arrest of the suspects, saying operatives recovered a cutlass believed to be the murder weapon, a T-shirt and one rubber toy pistol from the suspects. 2 FULANI HERDSMEN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY RAPING 14 YEAR OLD TEEN

Two Fulani herdsmen, Umar and Musa Ali, who are brothers, have been arrested by men of the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Tudun Lambaga in the Eggon Hills area, Eggon Local Government Area of the state. The victim, simply identified as Esther, was reportedly ambushed and assaulted by the suspects at a secluded part of the road. According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Nassarawa, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, Umar and Musa had been apprehended following a complaint by Esther’s parents.
