DAVIDO SAYS OSUN STATE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME,REMOVES OSUN FROM TOUR LIST

David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, has removed Osogbo, Osun state from his 8-city Back To Basics 2017 Tour.According to him, Osun state will never be the same after his late uncle’s death. 
Senator Isiaka Adeleke, the first executive governor of Osun state, reportedly died on Sunday as a result of an overdose of pain killers.

 The ‘IF’ hit singer about a week announced via social media of his nationwide tour that was to cover 8 cities namely Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo, Benin, Abuja, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Ilorin.

 However, it seems events surrounding his late uncle’s death seems to have affected the decision.

 Recall that Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, prevented a crowd of sympathisers at the Ede, Osun State, country home of late Senator Adeleke, from lynching Ms Idiat Babalola,Governor Aregbesola’s aide.

 Davido wrote on his snapchat page @DAVIDO: “Osun will never be the same again. Smh”

 “Cancelling Osun from my tour, I can’t do it.”

MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002. NIGERIAN NURSE TRIES DRAGGING TEENAGER INTO HIS CAR FOR SEX, FILMS ANOTHER NAKED A cancer nurse tried to drag a 16-year-old girl into his car containing 16 condoms, three tins of Vaseline and a roll of tape, a jury has heard in the U.K. It is alleged Michael Ohaegbu grabbed her off a Hull street last September.  He denies attempted kidnap, assault, and committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence. The 42-year-old also pleaded not guilty at Hull Crown Court to three counts of voyeurism, which relate to another complainant.  Ohaegbu, who worked at Castle Hill Hospital, is accused of twice filming the second complainant naked, and once under a table at a restaurant, without her consent between July and August 2016. The court was told, that on 26 September, the teenager was walking along Peel Street after midnight when Mr Ohaegbu tried to kidnap her, allegedly, with the intention of committing a sexual offence. The man is said to have grabbed a 22-caliber handgun and shot his much-younger wife in the face at their Bronx home on Thursday morning. KOGI GOVERNOR SEEKS ASSEMBLY'S APPROVAL FOR N11 BN SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, in a letter to the State House of Assembly, is seeking the approval of a supplementary budget of N11 billion for the 2017 fiscal year. The governor said the budget would take care of certain areas of economic development that were not previously captured.(Kogi state has not recorded any singular form of development since the present government came into existence) Bello stated that the budget would enable his administration to continue to execute its projects and programmes.(EFCC please note) The governor said it will also address security issues and other obvious sectors' challenges that are within and outside the current approved budget. After reading the letter to the House, Speaker Ahmed Imam directed the Majority Leader, Mathew Kolawole to slate it on the order paper for consideration at the next legislative day. The House is expected to consider the governor's request when members resume sitting on 1 August, 2017.
