It wasn 't a lucky day for an unidentified man in Umuonyeashi , Nsokpo Ogbaku in Mbaitolu LGA of Imo state , who has been arrested after a lady he captured and planned to use for rituals escaped .
Reports online reveal that the man stabbed the lady several times before she was able to escape to a nearby house where she got help.

Youths of the community mobilized themselves and searched for the man inside the bush where he was hiding.
Some hours later , they caught him and handed him over to the police.

A former Nigerian soldier who specializes in kidnapping rich women for ransom has finally been arrested by security operatives. A suspected kidnapper, Saliu Tola, has confessed before security operatives that he specialised in abducting rich ladies for ransom. Tola, a former soldier, was arrested in Asaba, Delta State by the police for alleged involvement in a series of abductions. While confessing to the crime, he said: “My victims have always been females. I have never gone for my kind. I kidnap valuable girls, ladies and women and this has never failed us. I resigned as a soldier to concentrate on kidnapping.” The 53-year-old suspect was one of the more than 173 others arrested for armed robbery, kidnapping and cultism. Saudi police shoot dead IS suspect MARCH 8TH 2017,          Police in Saudi Arabia said Wednesday they shot dead a member of the Islamic State group in the capital, the latest suspected jihadist to be killed by security forces. A 40-year-old man, Stephen Akpata, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Onyinye Faustina Eze, to death at the Kpansia suburb of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
