It wasn 't a lucky day for an unidentified man in Umuonyeashi , Nsokpo Ogbaku in Mbaitolu LGA of Imo state , who has been arrested after a lady he captured and planned to use for rituals escaped .
Reports online reveal that the man stabbed the lady several times before she was able to escape to a nearby house where she got help.

Youths of the community mobilized themselves and searched for the man inside the bush where he was hiding.
Some hours later , they caught him and handed him over to the police.

Niger police arrest 194 suspects,recover 48 weapons February 13, 2017 The Niger State Police Command said it arrested 194 suspects and recovered over 48 dangerous weapons from criminals in parts of the state. The state Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu, told Northern City News in Minna, that the suspects were arrested within a month and that aerial surveillance and ground raids carried out by his command to end the incessant attacks in some communities of the state culminated in the arrests and recovery of assorted weapons. The Benue State government has denied the reports alleging that the consignments containing snakes intercepted by the Nigeria Customs in Calabar belongs to Governor Samuel Ortom. It described it as another desperate smear campaign by members of the opposition. Malaysia's High Court heard this week Kim Jong Nam had 12 doses of atropine in his sling bag when he was allegedly swabbed with VX nerve agent in Kuala Lumpur International Airport on February 13, news agency Bernama said.
