Arsenal Congratulate Iwobi After Scoring Firing Nigeria To Russia 2018Alex Iwobi and team mates celebrating his goal against Zambia.

 

Arsenal have congratulated Alex Iwobi over Nigeria’s qualification for the 2018 World Cup. 
The Hale End graduate netted the lone goal of the game against the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
And the Gunners took to their official Twitter handle to congratulate Austine Jay-Jay Okocha’s nephew for the victory.
“From coming through our academy to sending Nigeria to the World Cup. We’re all so proud of you,” the North London team tweeted.
The Super Eagles will now go into the last game of the qualifiers, against Algeria, with calmed nerves having got thirteen points from five games.

Six dead, tens injured in DEADLY highway crash  has claimed six -The accident involved a saloon car and a bus -Five of the deceased were from the saloon car Six people lost their lives early on Sunday morning after deadly accident involving a saloon car and a bus along the Londiani-Muhoroni-Kisumu Highway . The accident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and consequently swerved into the other lane, colliding with the Toyota Wish head-on. Five of the six who died on the spot were from the personal vehicle. The meeting of the Federal Executive Council that holds every Wednesday did not hold yesterday. Yesterday would have afforded President Muhammadu Buhari who returned to the country on Saturday the opportunity of presiding over the council meeting for the first time in over three months. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed in a statement that the meeting would not hold. Adesina did not however disclose the reason behind the decision to cancel the meeting. Late Joy Odama Autopsy has revealed that Joy Odama who was allegedly killed by an Alhaji in Abuja, died after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes. Joy Odama, a 200 level undergraduate Mass Communication student at Cross River State University, according to her mother was murdered by Usman Adamu. Contrary to the bereaved woman's allegation, the police reports that the result of the autopsy found carbon monoxide fumes in her body. Former President, Mr Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed the theft of his property from his house in Abuja. He confirmed the incident in a statement by his spokesperson, Ikechukwu Eze, following some media reports that the home was stripped bare and some of the items stolen were being sold in markets.
