Yesterday the 7th of October made history in the life of this great man and his family as he gave out one of his beautiful daughters,Omolola in marriage .The engagement ceremony which took place at the palatial home of the Asiwaju on Friday throughout and into the early hours of Saturday witnessed guests from far and wide and allover the country.Special dignitaries amongst who where royal fathers,chiefs,politicians,uniform men and even business tycoons graced the occasion to honour one of their own,Chief Felix Ilesanmi,business tycoon,the Asiwaju of Kereku land.Below are photos from the occasion as we wish the newly weds a happy married life,

EFCC UNCOVERS N13 BILLION CASH IN LOCAL AND FOREIGN CURRENCIES IN LAGOS APARTMENT

The whistle blowing policy of the Federal Government appears to be paying off as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday announced that it uncovered foreign currencies and Naira notes to the tune of $43.4 million, £27,800 and N23.2 million at a four-bedroom apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos. The total amount of money recovered at the current Central Bank exchange rate is over N13 billion. The operation followed a confidential information received by the Commission's Lagos office regarding some suspicious movement of bags in and out of a particular apartment in the building. Another source who is conversant with the apartment indicated that a woman usually appeared on different occasions with 'Ghana Must Go' bags, the EFCC said. "She comes looking haggard, with dirty clothes but her skin didn't quite match her outward appearance, perhaps a disguise", the source said. POLICE PARADED RITUAL KILLERS WHO BUY HUMAN SKULLS,EYES AND TEETH FOR N12,000

A suspected ritual killer, Adebayo Mudashiru, has confessed that he and his colleagues buy human parts, including skulls, eyes and teeth, for N12,000. The suspect was arrested alongside three others in the Abeokuta and Owode Egba areas of the state by men of the Ogun State Police Command. The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Magbon, Abeokuta over the weekend. Iliyasu said the four suspects specialized in killing for ritual purposes and belonged to two different ritual groups. He said one of the groups, comprising Mudashiru and Rasheed Abass, who resided in the Totoro area of Abeokuta, were arrested on 5 October by operatives of FSARS. One crewmember died and two others were injured after a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter crashed at a golf course in Leonardtown, Maryland, during a "routine training flight" shortly before 2 p.m. EST today, officials told ABC News. The survivors, in critical and serious condition respectively, were transported to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, the Army said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, the Army said. "We are deeply saddened by this loss within our community," said Maj. Gen. Bradley A.
