FANI-KAYODE BLASTS PMB FOR ASKING WORLD BANK TO CONCENTRATE ON NORTHERN NIGERIA(AN EVIDENCE TO PROVE BUHARI'S MARGINALIZATION)

 Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has lashed out at President Muhammadu Buhari, after it emerged that he told the World Bank president, Kim Yong Jim, to concentrate on Northern Nigeria.

Fani-Kayode, in a series of tweets on Friday morning, claimed Buhari sees Nigerians from the South and Middle Belt as "low-lifes, vassals and slaves".
He wrote: "President of the World Bank, Kim Yong Jim, has said that @MBuhari told him to concentrate their efforts on northern Nigeria.

"Why am I not surprised? After all as far
as@MBuhari is concerned southern Nigerians and Middle Belters are nothing but low-lifes, vassals and slaves."

Kim had said: "You know, in my very first meeting with President Buhari he said specifically that he would like us to shift our focus to the northern region of Nigeria and we've done that. Now, it has been very difficult. The work there has been very difficult.

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, May 9, remanded a politician identified as Charles Eni-Umukoro over the murder of his wife, Louisa Eni-Umukoro, who was a director in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Justice Mary-Anne Aninih ordered the remand of Eni-Umukoro in Kuje Prison, FCT pending the hearing of his bail application. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) in February charged Umukoro with culpable homicide, which is punishable with death under Section 221 of the Penal Code. The defendant however denied the allegation. Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. He is calling for authorities in Colon to find those responsible. Henriquez was part of the Panama team that is trying to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. A Nigerian cleric is demanding for justice on behalf of his son who was allegedly murdered by security operatives while in custody. A Nigerian pastor, Pastor Gabriel Atansuyi, has begged for justice after alleging that the Nigeria Police are trying to cover up the death of his gospel artist son, Ifedolapo. According to Punch, Atansuyi had in a statement on March 8, 2017, accused the police of killing his son while in custody, and attempting to pass it off as suicide.
