Yesufu in reaction to President Buhari's letter to the Senate on why he cannot sack and prosecute the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, said if the president has any shred of honour, character & integrity he should resign.

David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, has removed Osogbo, Osun state from his 8-city Back To Basics 2017 Tour.According to him, Osun state will never be the same after his late uncle’s death.  Senator Isiaka Adeleke, the first executive governor of Osun state, reportedly died on Sunday as a result of an overdose of pain killers. The ‘IF’ hit singer about a week announced via social media of his nationwide tour that was to cover 8 cities namely Lagos, Ibadan, Osogbo, Benin, Abuja, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Ilorin. However, it seems events surrounding his late uncle’s death seems to have affected the decision. Recall that Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, prevented a crowd of sympathisers at the Ede, Osun State, country home of late Senator Adeleke, from lynching Ms Idiat Babalola,Governor Aregbesola’s aide. The Commander , Joint Task Force (JTF), Operation Delta Safe (ODS), Rear Admiral Suleiman Apochi, and other top military officers have escaped drowning in the rivers of Ikang, Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Cross River State. Apochi and other sector commanders of ODS cheated death when they fell into the Ikang River according to a statement signed by the Coordinator, Joint Media Campaign Centre (JMCC), Maj. Ibrahim Abdullahi. But some of them were said to have sustained minor injuries and were given medical treatment. The statement named others who fell into the river as the Commander, Nigerian Naval Ship (NNS) Victory, Commodore Sali Jubrin, ODS sector commanders, Commander Sector 4 and other senior officers and soldiers. 3 SUSPECTED THIEVES ARRESTED AT THE LAGOS HIGH COURT

File Photo The Police at the Lion Building Division, Lagos Island, Lagos have arrested three suspected thieves who allegedly jumped into the High Court premises at Igbosere Road on Lagos Island at midnight with dangerous weapons to steal. The suspects, according to a Police source could not succeed in their plans before the Police stormed the scene to arrest them and took them to the station following a distress call to the Police by the securitymen attached to the Court. The suspects were arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court on a three-count charge of felony with attempt to commit felony at the High Court, Lagos. Ford is taking legal actions by suing the "American Grit" star for violating their contract by selling his new $500k 2017 Ford GT.
