Yesufu in reaction to President Buhari's letter to the Senate on why he cannot sack and prosecute the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, said if the president has any shred of honour, character & integrity he should resign.

Members of Boko Haram Boko Haram insurgents have killed six men in a village in northeast Nigeria on Tuesday in what appeared to be a targeted reprisal attack. A militia fighting the group said nine Boko Haram fighters allegedly entered Kijimatari, a village in north-east Borno state, at around 2 am (0100 GMT), breaking into the homes of six men including the village chief before slitting their throats. "The attackers evaded a nearby military checkpoint by entering the village through bush paths," said Ibrahim Liman, the head of a local anti-jihadist militia force. "The chief of the village was among the victims and it was clear the victims were deliberately targeted." Local resident Kulo Musa said that while the attackers had carried guns, they "chose to use knives" to avoid alerting soldiers manning a nearby checkpoint. A Jehovah's Witness convention in Angola was attacked with toxic gas on Friday, causing over 400 people to faint. A local news source, Portal de Angola, reported on Saturday that three young men were detained after the attack. According to the report, some 7,000 worshippers were at a venue on the outskirts of Luanda for the weekend-long convention. Forty-three victims were rushed to the hospital, but no deaths have been reported. A witness, Abraham Kituxi, told Portal de Angola that his sister-in-law was one of the first to collapse. She told him that she had smelled something foul before passing out. Shortly thereafter, more people began collapsing, creating panic throughout the venue. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nigeria , on Tuesday reminded Nigerians that it was no longer in the business of issuing them visas. The Embassy's Charge d ' Affaires, Mr Michel Deleen , told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN ) in Lagos that the Embassy had since 2013 swapped it's visa issuance processes in Nigeria. THE LATE BELOVED SENATOR ISIAKA ADELEKE Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, rescued an aide to Osun State Governor, Ms Idiat Babalola, from mob attack at the premises of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, on Monday. According to the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to Amosun, Mr. Adejuwon Soyinka, the crowd of sympathisers demanded that Babalola be made to leave the premises of the Ede,Osun State country home of the Adelekes.
