The Department of State Security (DSS), Sunday Tribune gathered, has invited the General overseer of the Omega Fire Assembly, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, over the statement purportedly credited to him on the farmer/herdsmen crisis during a sermon in Ekiti State.
Suleiman’s invitation, according to sources, has been slated for tomorrow.But the GO of Omega Fire Assembly in an interview with Sunday Tribune, said he was not afraid of any invitation by the state security service.According to him, he was ready to honour the invitation of the service once such followed due legal process. (Read full interview on page 38).The cleric was reported to have told his congregation to retaliate any attack by Fulani herdsmen against them in a video that went viral recently.The operatives of the DSS almost arrested him in Ekiti in an exercise described as  Gestapo style, but which was foiled by the state governor, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose.Culled from Tribune

*Police were called to Piccadilly bus station after a suitcase was found on the 192 bus and a man reportedly ran from the scene A suitcase has been left on a bus at Piccadilly bus station sparking a security alert. Police were called to Portland Street after the suitcase was found on the 192 bus at 11.35am. Greater Manchester Police officers are on their way to the scene to investigate. It's understood a man got onto the Stagecoach bus and dropped the suitcase in the middle aisle. He then reportedly ran off the bus service, which was travelling from the city centre to Stockport. An attempt by a mother of two children to smuggle a phone to her boyfriend in prison custody has been foiled by the officials of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The 33-year-old woman, Fatima Balogun who has been arrested by men of the Special Intelligence Unit of the NPS, carried out the action on Wednesday at the gate lodge of Abeokuta maximum Prisons in Ibara. The suspect confessed that she hid the phone which she bought for her boyfriend identified as Ganiyu Ajibode, in the cooler of soup from the Prisons officials. Balogun said she was a divorcee with two children before she met Ganiyu about two years back. A neurological disorder with no cure, Parkinson's can cause tremors, stiffness and difficulty balancing, walking and coordinating movement.   "My family and I began to notice changes about three years ago," Jackson wrote in a statement. "After a battery of tests, my physicians identified the issue as Parkinson's disease, a disease that bested my father." Two Fulani herdsmen, Umar and Musa Ali, who are brothers, have been arrested by men of the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Tudun Lambaga in the Eggon Hills area, Eggon Local Government Area of the state. The victim, simply identified as Esther, was reportedly ambushed and assaulted by the suspects at a secluded part of the road. According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Nassarawa, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, Umar and Musa had been apprehended following a complaint by Esther’s parents.
