The Department of State Security (DSS), Sunday Tribune gathered, has invited the General overseer of the Omega Fire Assembly, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, over the statement purportedly credited to him on the farmer/herdsmen crisis during a sermon in Ekiti State.
Suleiman’s invitation, according to sources, has been slated for tomorrow.But the GO of Omega Fire Assembly in an interview with Sunday Tribune, said he was not afraid of any invitation by the state security service.According to him, he was ready to honour the invitation of the service once such followed due legal process. (Read full interview on page 38).The cleric was reported to have told his congregation to retaliate any attack by Fulani herdsmen against them in a video that went viral recently.The operatives of the DSS almost arrested him in Ekiti in an exercise described as  Gestapo style, but which was foiled by the state governor, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose.Culled from Tribune

A 45-year-old suspected ritualist who was arrested by the Police in Lagos with a human skull, has disclosed that he sold fresh human skull for N1 million. The suspect, Lucien Tusume, was arrested at Iraye village in Sagamu area of Ogun State, following intelligence report. Explaining the circumstance that led to the arrest of the suspected ritualist, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said some policemen, who disguised as buyers, contacted the suspect for a human skull. The suspect reportedly agreed to sell a dried skull for N150,000 to the undercover operatives, but the officers bargained for N81,000 which he accepted.The suspect later took the dried human skull to the 'buyers', and he was subsequently arrested after payment was made to him. Malaysia's High Court heard this week Kim Jong Nam had 12 doses of atropine in his sling bag when he was allegedly swabbed with VX nerve agent in Kuala Lumpur International Airport on February 13, news agency Bernama said. Defense lawyer Hisyam Abdullah also confirmed the report to CNN. Abdullah said K. Sharmilah, a government toxicologist, told the court Wednesday she examined the drug along with several other samples provided by police. MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002.
