Rising Nollywood actress,  Eve Thomas is set to take the Nollywood industry by the  storm. A  Biochemistry graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State (2008), in a chat with newsmen spoke about herself and her dreams “I joined the industry through my brother who is in USA(Edward Thomas) and  since then, I have been doing well.
I have acted with the likes of Baba Wande, Jimoh Aliu, Ojopagogo, kunle Afod among other established actors in the industry”
Though she claimed to be single , but  not searching “ I am single but not searching” as she took time to reflect on her first sexual experience “ I had my first sex in my final year at the university and it wasn’t  a nice experience” she said amidst laughter.
On sexual harassment in the industry ‘she further said “ There is sexual harassment in the industry, I have encountered it before”.
The actress who singled out Bimbo Akintola as her role model stated thus “I am always after my career and I think differently.”

*Police were called to Piccadilly bus station after a suitcase was found on the 192 bus and a man reportedly ran from the scene A suitcase has been left on a bus at Piccadilly bus station sparking a security alert. Police were called to Portland Street after the suitcase was found on the 192 bus at 11.35am. Greater Manchester Police officers are on their way to the scene to investigate. It's understood a man got onto the Stagecoach bus and dropped the suitcase in the middle aisle. He then reportedly ran off the bus service, which was travelling from the city centre to Stockport. An attempt by a mother of two children to smuggle a phone to her boyfriend in prison custody has been foiled by the officials of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The 33-year-old woman, Fatima Balogun who has been arrested by men of the Special Intelligence Unit of the NPS, carried out the action on Wednesday at the gate lodge of Abeokuta maximum Prisons in Ibara. The suspect confessed that she hid the phone which she bought for her boyfriend identified as Ganiyu Ajibode, in the cooler of soup from the Prisons officials. Balogun said she was a divorcee with two children before she met Ganiyu about two years back.   Civil rights activist the Rev. Jesse Jackson said Friday that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. A neurological disorder with no cure, Parkinson's can cause tremors, stiffness and difficulty balancing, walking and coordinating movement.   "My family and I began to notice changes about three years ago," Jackson wrote in a statement. "After a battery of tests, my physicians identified the issue as Parkinson's disease, a disease that bested my father." Sule Lamido, the former governor of Jigawa state, has attributed his arrest and perceived persecution to his desire to run for president in 2019. Two Fulani herdsmen, Umar and Musa Ali, who are brothers, have been arrested by men of the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl at Tudun Lambaga in the Eggon Hills area, Eggon Local Government Area of the state. The victim, simply identified as Esther, was reportedly ambushed and assaulted by the suspects at a secluded part of the road.
