Rising Nollywood actress,  Eve Thomas is set to take the Nollywood industry by the  storm. A  Biochemistry graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State (2008), in a chat with newsmen spoke about herself and her dreams “I joined the industry through my brother who is in USA(Edward Thomas) and  since then, I have been doing well.
I have acted with the likes of Baba Wande, Jimoh Aliu, Ojopagogo, kunle Afod among other established actors in the industry”
Though she claimed to be single , but  not searching “ I am single but not searching” as she took time to reflect on her first sexual experience “ I had my first sex in my final year at the university and it wasn’t  a nice experience” she said amidst laughter.
On sexual harassment in the industry ‘she further said “ There is sexual harassment in the industry, I have encountered it before”.
The actress who singled out Bimbo Akintola as her role model stated thus “I am always after my career and I think differently.”

A bloody clash between the army and police in Nigeria's restive northeastern Yobe state on Wednesday left one soldier and three police dead, a security source told AFP.  The police confirmed the fracas in the state capital of Damaturu, but did not say if there were casualties.  "The Nigeria police force is abreast of the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of today 12th April, 2017 in Damaturu between the personnel of the force and that of the Nigerian army," police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said in a statement.  He said an investigation had been launched to determine "the causes of the incident and deal with the situation appropriately to prevent such occurrence in the future".  The army authorities were not immediately available for comment. A disgruntled husband killed his wife during their cruise-ship vacation because "she would not stop laughing at me," according to newly filed court papers. Kenneth Manzanares attacked his wife, Kristy, inside their cabin aboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship Tuesday night, according to an affidavit filed Wednesday in Alaska federal court. MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ASSAULT ON PREGNANT WOMAN February 22, 2017; An Osun Magistrate Court sitting in Ile-Ife has docked one Dayo Adebayo, 29, for alleged assault on a pregnant woman.   The prosecutor, Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 13, around 11:45 pm at Ehindi Street, Ile-Ife.Osanyintuyi, said Adebayo assaulted the woman named Blessing Monday, by hitting her with his fist across her face, causing various injuries.He added that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 356 of the Criminal Code (Cap 34 Vol 11), Laws of Osun, 2002.
