Rising Nollywood actress,  Eve Thomas is set to take the Nollywood industry by the  storm. A  Biochemistry graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State (2008), in a chat with newsmen spoke about herself and her dreams “I joined the industry through my brother who is in USA(Edward Thomas) and  since then, I have been doing well.
I have acted with the likes of Baba Wande, Jimoh Aliu, Ojopagogo, kunle Afod among other established actors in the industry”
Though she claimed to be single , but  not searching “ I am single but not searching” as she took time to reflect on her first sexual experience “ I had my first sex in my final year at the university and it wasn’t  a nice experience” she said amidst laughter.
On sexual harassment in the industry ‘she further said “ There is sexual harassment in the industry, I have encountered it before”.
The actress who singled out Bimbo Akintola as her role model stated thus “I am always after my career and I think differently.”

Man allegedly chops off pregnant woman’s hand A man, who was engaged in a fight with his neighbour in Isaba-Ekiti, allegedly chopped off the left wrist of a pregnant woman, Aisha Adam, with a cutlass. A News Agency of Nigeria correspondent, who visited the pregnant woman and mother of four on her hospital bed on Monday, reports that the left hand of the victim was cut off from the wrist. Suspected Boko Haram Members Kill 10-Year-Old Boy February 16, 2017 Policemen attached to the Inspector- General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris’ Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT), have arrested suspected Boko Haram members, who abducted a 10-year-old boy in Maiduguri, Borno State and later stabbed him to death. The victim, Baa Goni Maina, was abducted on January 14 by 18-year-old Adam Bakura and his brother, Modu Bakura. He was killed three days later after his father couldn’t cough up the N10 million ransom the brothers demanded. It was learnt that although Maina’s father was comfortable, he was not rich enough to have N10 million. The suspect and deceased lived in the same community. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) on Tuesday paraded a 17-year-old Boko Haram suspect, who admitted killing 18 people since he joined the group three years ago.  The suspect, Ali Mustafa, said he was forced to join the deadly group when Boko Haram terrorists attacked his village in Monguno and left with many boys. The teenager said he gained skill handling assault rifles, with which he executed his victims.  "I was forced to join Boko Haram about three years ago. Shiri Sobol was convicted of soliciting the murder of her twin sister Hili Sobol in February. The murderer, Shiri's boyfriend David Eran, was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Tel Aviv District Court. A nurse has become the first in a wheelchair to work on the frontline of the NHS.Michelle Quested, 33, lost the use of her legs in a car accident seven years ago. But the dedicated nurse was determined not to let her disability get in the way of her clinical work at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), David Babachir Lawal, on Tuesday appeared before the Yemi Osinbajo-led panel, where he answered questions over the alleged violations of due process in the award of contracts under the Presidential Initiative on the North East (PINE). Lawal arrived the Presidential Villa around 1pm and was ushered before the Vice President. He left at 3.35pm. The panel had on Monday grilled the suspended Director-General of the National Inteligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke. Oke was suspended over the recovery of $43million from a Lagos apartment, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The panel went through documents and quizzed some officials during the 11-hour sesssion that began at 10am.
