WHEREABOUT OF KIDNAPPED GERMANS STILL UNKNOWN

Close to 24 hours after their abduction, the whereabouts of the kidnapped German archaeologist, Professor Peter Breunij and his research fellow, Johannes Buringer remains unknown. The two german nationals were abducted on Thursday afternoon around Kaduna State-Abuja axis, a security source in Abuja who is closely following the situation has told SaharaReporters.


Prof. Breunij is an authority on Nok culture and other issues associated with the ancient culture of Southern Kaduna.

According to the source, no contact has been established with the kidnappers of the two foreigners.

“As we speak, there is no communication, and there is also no any trace to where they are being held. And no one has asked for ransom or even communicated.

“But we have not lost hope, and we are putting in our best to track them as soon as possible.

“We are in touch with German Embassy here in Abuja, and the Nigerian commission the professor is  partnering with Nok Culture project here in Abuja.”

FORMER BBC STUDIO CORDONED OFF AFTER MAN'S BODY WAS DISCOVERED

A man’s body has been discovered on the former BBC studios site in Manchester city centre. The body was found this morning at the building site on Oxford Road, which is currently being transformed into student flats. Greater Manchester Police have been called to the scene and the area has been taped off. Forensics officers have also been seen combing the area. Police are working to establish the circumstances behind the man’s death. The victim is believed to have been discovered by building site staff on Monday morning. It is thought he gained access to the building site over the weekend. A prophet of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C & S) Church in Lagos, Mr. Alimi Isaiah, 55, has been arraigned before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan for allegedly being in possession of human skull and a horn. Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has backed out of his planned talks with the South-East Governors Forum » . Christian Nwosu An ex - Administrative Secretary with the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mr. Christian Nwosu , on Thursday alleged that he was cajoled into confessing to taking a bribe of N 30m to compromise the 2015 general elections. Nwosu , who is being prosecuted before the Federal High Court in Lagos for alleged bribery , claimed that the three confessional statements he made to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on December 28, 2016 and March 15 and 22, 2017 were not done voluntarily . 300 LEVEL VARSITY STUDENT SODOMIZES 10 YEAR OLD GIRL TO DEATH

A 300 Level student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana has reportedly raped a ten-year-old girl to death. The student was said to have anally raped the girl for over three years, damaging her anus and feeding her with a cocktail of painkillers which caused her kidneys to fail, killing her. Reports from Ghanaian online news media said the young man was arrested on Tuesday after the girl was taken to the hospital following her complaints of pains in her anus. Medical tests at the hospital showed she had been sodomised, and revealed damages to her intestines and kidney. The young man is reported to have given the 10-year-old girl eight tablets of paracetamol to kill the pains anytime he has sexual intercourse with her through the anus. He is also reported to have warned the girl not to reveal his sexual encounters with her to anyone or else she will die.
