MAN WHO ASKED COLLEGE STUDENT TO GET HIM HUMAN PARTS THAT LED TO 8 YEAR OLDS MURDER ARRESTED

Four days ago, we gave you an update on the murder of 8-year-old Miss Chikamso Victory by a 23-year-old undergraduate of  the University of Port-Harcourt, (UNIPORT) Maxwell Ifeanyi Chukwu Dike.

We told you that the devil-minded 200 level student was trying to dump the body of late Chikamso when he was apprehended by local vigilantes in the early hours of Saturday,  August 19, St Messiah Street, Eliozu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital. He abducted the child, who was his neighbour, defiled her and after killing her, he removed her v**ina, eyes, tongue and br**sts.

Here's another update, Investigation into Chikamso's murder took a different twist this morning, as the man who allegedly asked Dike, who is currently on the run, to get human body parts so they can use it for money ritual, was apprehended by officers of the Rivers state police command this morning.

In an interview with Channels TV this morning, here's what the state commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed, disclosed.

"I'm delighted to inform you that the second suspect who the principal suspect alleged asked him to get those parts has been arrested this morning (Thursday). There are two of them. The principal suspect when he was arrested, he confessed to committing the crime and he mentioned that someone asked him to get some parts of a human being for them to make money.

So that person has been arrested this morning. I strongly suspect that this person we have arrested is involved in the crime. The boy gave his name and gave his number and he mentioned that this is the person who asked him to get these human parts that they are going to make money" he said

After being arrested by police, Ifeanyi Dike escaped from detention on Sunday night. The police boss said his men are working towards getting him rearrested.

In an alleged ecstasy to impress their paymaster, a team of police operatives, on Sunday, shot dead one Elvis Ovie and injured another, Onome Eko, during a party in Warri, Delta State. NIGERIAN SECURITY AGENTS FOIL ISIS/BOKO HARAM PLOT TO BOMB UK AND US EMBASIES

Nigerian security forces say they have foiled a plot by ISIS-linked Boko Haram militants to bomb the British High Commission and US Embassy in the capital Abuja. The Department of State Services announced that it had arrested five suspects who were planning attacks. A DSS official said a suspected Boko Haram member who was arrested on March 22, in north-eastern Yobe state, confessed details of the plot. 30 NEW ILLEGAL REFINERIES FOUND IN RIVERS STATE

Victor Choji, the Executive Officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder, Port Harcourt, said this during the destruction of one of the illegal refineries on Thursday. He said all the refineries were discovered in Asari Toru Local Government area of Rivers, with 40 huge metallic storage tanks . The News Agency of Nigeria reports that some of the storage tanks were filled with petroleum products suspected to be diesel and crude oil. Choji noted that the discovery was in continuation of the current mop-up of illegal refineries and illicit bunkering of petroleum products by crude oil thieves. 72-year-old Actor John Heard, who played the role of Peter McCallister in hit 90s movies Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, was reportedly found dead in his hotel room.
