MAN STABBED REPEATEDLY BY INTRUDERS WHO FORCED THEIR WAY INTO FLAT

The attack happened in a flat above this shop shortly after 6pm last night.
A man was stabbed repeatedly after a gang forced their way into a flat in Blackley .
Police say two vehicles pulled up outside the premises in Victoria Avenue at about 6.30pm last night.
A number of offenders got into the flat which is close to a flower shop - Avenue Flowers.

Once inside the premises a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the arm, leg, and chest.
He was taken to hospital with what GMP describe as "serious" injuries.
Detectives are checking CCTV cameras and it is expected that details of the cars used by the gang will be issued later.
It is believed the attackers searched the flat after knifing the man but nothing was taken.

Victim stabbed in chest, arm and leg
Once inside the attackers stabbed the victim, 27, in the chest, arm and leg.
When police and paramedics arrived he was taken to hospital.
The offenders are understood to have arrived in two vehicles and forced their way through this door to access one of the flats above.
