Kenneth Manzanares attacked his wife, Kristy, inside their cabin aboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship Tuesday night, according to an affidavit filed Wednesday in Alaska federal court. A witness told authorities that when he entered blood-splattered Cabin D726 — where the Manzanareses were staying — Kristy, 39, was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. The Imo State Police Command has declared a suspected armed robber, Ekene Amadi, wanted for allegedly shooting a police Inspector, Oliver Nwaba. According to a statement issued by police spokesperson in the state, Andrew Enwerem, the officer was shot during an attack by Amadi's gang on policemen at Nipping Point at Nkaraha Junction, along Owerri-Port Harcourt Road. Enwerem said the 26-year-old Amadi, who is on the run, had earlier been apprehended by the police on May 22, 2017, arraigned in court and remanded in Owerri prison. The suspect was, however, said to have been released by the court, after which he allegedly went back to his criminal activities, terrorising Nkaraha Junction and Ohaji in the Ohaji /Egbema Local Government Area of the state.
