DAMMY KRANE AND CHUKWUEBUKA TO FACE MORE CHARGES AS HE REMAINS IN JAIL

Embattled Nigerian artiste, Dammy krane, appeared in court today for his bail hearing in the 9-count fraud charges leveled against him in the U.S. He was in court with Chukwuebuka, his accomplice. Chukwuebuka, who is claiming to be Dammy krane's show promoter, filed paperwork saying that he is indigent. According to our source, the court looked at his papers and it was found that he has no money or property in any bank. He was thereby kept in jail till 22nd of June, 2017. On his part, Dammy krane pleaded not guilty and paperwork was provided to his defense attorney, showing what police found on his phone. The federal government has approved the closure of five foreign missions and embassies, minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said. Onyeama told newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The minister, who did not mention the embassies or missions, said the process for closure was underway and was also subject to the approval of the president. "We do not want to indicate the embassies that will be closed yet because we are in the process of submitting the proposals, the cost analysis and also the political analysis we did to the president. "When he sees that, he may or may not want to close some, so we have not yet reached the stage of closing some," he said. The minister also reiterated that the closing missions abroad were "extremely expensive". "The expense, costs of closing embassies is so high and prohibitive but in the long run it will more economical." Commissioner of Police Olafimihan Adeoye, who paraded the suspects, said they were arrested on October 6, 2017, following a tip-off and investigations. REV KING The Lagos State Government is set to take a vital decision on the General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, CPA, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, a.k.a Rev. King, and others on death row in Lagos prisons very soon. The nation’s apex court had on 27 February, 2016 upheld the judgment of the Apeal Court which passed death penalty on King, saying the condemned cleric must die by hanging. State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adeniji Kazeem at a ministerial press conference on Tuesday in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria said the state government was reviewing the matter and would make a decision very soon.
