On Sunday , 2nd of June, Wizkid performed at his sold - out concert in Washington DC , which saw lots of his fans trooping in the venue, with all chanting his name and songs with him .
An excited Wizkid took to Instagram to celebrate the success of the concert, He wrote;

" Thank u DC ! That was emotional!! Brussels I 'm on the way… wireless see u after that,"

.. and then , Guess who liked his post, and then commented with a " LIT" smiley ?? It's No other than Nicki Minaj of course.

This is not the first time Nicki Minaj will be supporting Nigerian stars on social media . In May , She gave Skales the global attention he deserves by promoting his song on her Instagram .

Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. He is calling for authorities in Colon to find those responsible. Henriquez was part of the Panama team that is trying to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. A fire incident which happened on Saturday evening at Makoko and Satellite Town areas of Lagos State, has left a seven-day-old baby dead, and copies of West African Senior School Certificate Examination results badly burnt. It was gathered that the baby was burnt to death in Makoko, in the fire incident that occurred due to a resident's carelessness, after she left what she was cooking on a stove unattended to. Governor Nyesom Wike of Bayelsa Photo: Twitter The Rivers state government has condemned the escape, from police custody, of Ifeanyi Dike, a suspected rapist and killer of Victory Chikanso, an eight-year-old girl. The Rivers state deputy governor, Dr Ipalibo Banigo, in a statement on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, asked the Police and other law enforcement agen­cies to ensure that the suspect is re-arrested and brought to justice without delay. She stressed that the report that the suspect es­caped from the hands of the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) is "totally unaccept­able and very embarrass­ing." Banigo who condoled with the bereaved family on the gruesome murder of their daughter, said that "as a mother, I am still numb with shock to hear that a man could defile an eight-year-old girl and go ahead to mutilate her body for purported money rituals."
