JAMES IBORI HEADS FOR HIS HOMESTATE DELTA AFTER MEETING WITH LAWAL DAURA,DSS BOSS

Breaking: James Ibori leaves DSS custody after 'meeting' with DG
The former governor of Delta state
returned to the country on Saturday, February 4, after serving a 13 year jail term for fraud in the UK.

Ibori was picked up by DSS operatives and then taken to the head office of the DSS for what was described as a briefing.
He is reportedly on his way to Oghara, his hometown where he is eagerly being awaited in by his relations and supporters.

Ibori who was the governor of Delta state was released in December after serving jail term slammed on him by a British Court.
Shortly after his release, the former governor had promised he would return to Nigeria to continue his political career in Delta his home state and Nigeria at large.

Embattled Nigerian artiste, Dammy krane, appeared in court today for his bail hearing in the 9-count fraud charges leveled against him in the U.S. He was in court with Chukwuebuka, his accomplice. Chukwuebuka, who is claiming to be Dammy krane's show promoter, filed paperwork saying that he is indigent. According to our source, the court looked at his papers and it was found that he has no money or property in any bank. He was thereby kept in jail till 22nd of June, 2017. The federal government has approved the closure of five foreign missions and embassies, minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said. Onyeama told newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The minister, who did not mention the embassies or missions, said the process for closure was underway and was also subject to the approval of the president. "We do not want to indicate the embassies that will be closed yet because we are in the process of submitting the proposals, the cost analysis and also the political analysis we did to the president. "When he sees that, he may or may not want to close some, so we have not yet reached the stage of closing some," he said.
