Tragedy-One Dies as Ex-footballer Narrowly Escaped Death When SUV Plunged In to a Gutter in Lagos

Former player for the Nigeria Women’s National team,Super Falcons,Chiamaka “Chi-Chi” Igbo said she narrowly escaped death when an SUV plunged into a gutter at the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos State.

She took to Instagram and wrote;
“It’s only God that protects,it’s unfortunate cos this could have been anyone…I just went through that road and this happened just few mins of me walking that same path. Right outside the entrance to lekki phase 1.

“Apparently the unfortunate guy was a bystander. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.This will not be your portion or that of your loved ones,in Jesus name.”Amen

These, the anti-graft agency said, were apart from "boxes of gold, silver and diamond jewellery, worth several million British pounds sterling," discovered during a search of Diezani's palatial residences in Abuja. A wanted Boko Haram suspect, Idris Ibrahim Babawo, has been apprehended in Ondo state, Sahara Reporters learned on Tuesday.
