Cover Girl’s first male ambassador posts racist African tweets, calls it a country in his apology

At age 17, James Charles broke barriers last year and became CoverGirl’s first male spokesperson. But yesterday, Charles tweeted: “‘I can’t believe we’re going to Africa today omg what if we get Ebola." He also tweeted about the fact that their is no internet access in the continent. .

Charles ardently defended his remarks. He initially blocked tweeters who called out the lunacy of his tone-deaf tweets. Several hours later, he removed the tweet and issued an apology, but then, he ended up calling Africa a country.

Also arrested, after reliable information, is one Victor Ayanngor, who conspired with Ordue Abraham, Kelvin Dankor and Emmanuel Terver to kidnap his girlfriend and collect N200,000 ransom."

Armed Robber Burnt To Death In Calabar By Mob After Juju Failed February 16, 2017 A dead man was found lying by the side of the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Murtala Mohammed Highway, closed to RCC roundabout, Calabar after he was burnt to death by an angry mob. File Photo The Police at the Lion Building Division, Lagos Island, Lagos have arrested three suspected thieves who allegedly jumped into the High Court premises at Igbosere Road on Lagos Island at midnight with dangerous weapons to steal. The suspects, according to a Police source could not succeed in their plans before the Police stormed the scene to arrest them and took them to the station following a distress call to the Police by the securitymen attached to the Court. The suspects were arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court on a three-count charge of felony with attempt to commit felony at the High Court, Lagos. Man allegedly chops off pregnant woman’s hand A man, who was engaged in a fight with his neighbour in Isaba-Ekiti, allegedly chopped off the left wrist of a pregnant woman, Aisha Adam, with a cutlass. A News Agency of Nigeria correspondent, who visited the pregnant woman and mother of four on her hospital bed on Monday, reports that the left hand of the victim was cut off from the wrist. According to CBS affiliate WJHL, Scott Edmisten was “unsteady” and “very angry” when authorities pulled him over during a traffic stop this week. On Tuesday, WREG reported Edmisten was driving on a suspended license when he was caught going 55 mph in a 30 mph zone. He allegedly floored it, reaching speeds of 80 mph before finally coming to a stop and taken into custody. An inventory of his vehicle recovered a loaded .357 magnum, a loaded .45 semi auto, a full auto AR rifle in .223 caliber, a full auto AR rifle in .308 caliber, over 900 rounds of ammunition, a mask and black fatigues.
