James Ibori Secretly Marries His Mistress?

The popular mistress of James Ibori, the embattled ex-Governor of Delta state, Senami Sosu, has changed her name to Mrs James Ibori.
No sooner than Ibori regained his freedom than Senami reappeared in his life and the country’s sociopolitical scene. It would be recalled that the fair-skinned University of Lagos graduate quit the social arena and vanished into thin air in the wake of her lover’s journey to prison.

Senami attained prominence when the embattled former governor of Delta State patronized her. Speculations are that she went into hiding in order not to be caught in the vortex of storms afflicting her former lover and benefactor.
At the backdrop of her re-emergence in the social scene, speculation abound about the true story behind Senami’s name change; the question on everyone’s lips, is “Did Ibori truly make a decent woman of Senami by marrying her from prison?”

The federal government has approved the closure of five foreign missions and embassies, minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama said. Onyeama told newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. Policemen from the Ipakodo division have arrested a suspected killer of a family of three in Ibeshe Titun, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. It was learnt that the suspect, whose identity had yet to be ascertained, was arrested on Tuesday in the community. A resident, who asked not to be identified, said the suspect had been taken into custody and was being interrogated by the police. He said, “The man was arrested this morning (Tuesday) and he confessed to being a member of the gang that attacked and killed members of the family. He was beaten to a pulp by an angry mob as he also mentioned the names of their sponsors. German national dies after slumping at Lagos airport A German national, Mr Brenard Christo, who slumped  on Friday  at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, has died at an undisclosed hospital. The spokesman for the Lagos Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, confirmed the death of the German to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  on Saturday . Alabi said the deceased was waiting to board a local Arik Air flight  on Friday  morning when he suddenly collapsed.
