BREAKING NEWS:Very Popular Comedian Anne Kansiime Arrested Hard Drugs,To Be Jailed For Life If Found Guilty;

Ugandan entertainer, comedian and actress, Anne Kansiime has been arrested at London Heathrow Airport for trying to smuggle 2 kilograms of cocaine hidden in two bags of coffee inside two suitcases; authorities said on Wednesday.

Customs and Border Protection police officers searched her suitcases upon suspicion and found a plastic coffee bag containing white powder, according to officials.She was taken to a private search room, where the officers found a second bag full of powder. Both tested positive for cocaine.The estimated value of the cocaine is more than £80,000, officials said.

Anne Kansiime was arrested and handed off to Port Authority police. She will be prosecuted by the London District Attorney on drug smuggling charges.“This seizure is another example of UK Border Agency being ever vigilant in protecting the United Kingdom from the distribution of illicit drugs,” said Robert E. Perez, Director of UK Border Agency London Field Operations.

The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. He was arrested in Kano on 31 August.  Maitangaran, according to a statement issued by the service, spearheaded several deadly attacks in Kano in 2012. Policemen from the Ipakodo division have arrested a suspected killer of a family of three in Ibeshe Titun, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. It was learnt that the suspect, whose identity had yet to be ascertained, was arrested on Tuesday in the community. A resident, who asked not to be identified, said the suspect had been taken into custody and was being interrogated by the police. German national dies after slumping at Lagos airport A German national, Mr Brenard Christo, who slumped  on Friday  at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, has died at an undisclosed hospital. The spokesman for the Lagos Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, confirmed the death of the German to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  on Saturday . Alabi said the deceased was waiting to board a local Arik Air flight  on Friday  morning when he suddenly collapsed.
