COMING UP WITH BUSINESS IDEAS

IT takes an idea to make your dream of having a business a reality. Big businesses all started from someone having an idea. An idea is the first milestone in your entrepreneurial journey. Your business idea should centre on producing a commodity or providing a service which can in turn be exchanged for money.

So how do you come up with a business idea?

Consider your passion – What are your likes? What are those things you enjoy doing without necessarily being paid for it? Your business idea should be something of interest to you. Your businesses should be something you enjoy doing and can do with ease. This is because your passion will give you the necessary patience to be able to wait for the big bucks to start rolling in.

New trends and technology – When coming up with a business idea, make sure it is up to date with technology and trends. This is because technology is beginning to erase some businesses.

Be creative – Put a creative spin on existing business ideas. Your business idea should be geared towards creating something new or improving on a particular good/service/technology. It really does not make much sense for a business to produce the same product or render the same service as other businesses in the industry. This is because without something new or unique about your product/service consumers would rather stick with the product they know and this can drive you out of business in no time.

Problem solving – Seek to solve a particular problem in your community or society. Your product should be filling a particular vacuum. This guarantees a market for your product/service. No one wants to buy what will not be useful to them.

Do your research – Make adequate research on feasible and profitable business ventures. Not every idea is potential money making venture. Venturing into a business with a declining market will only result into loss of funds and liquidation after sometime.

Think of something that can eventually be a money making venture. Profit is one of the motives of business. Your business idea should be an idea that can generate money overtime.

It was reported that Kristyna died on Tuesday, April 18. It was reported that she died after having a seizure while undergoing more surgery. On her website, kristynamartelli.com, Kristyna listed her height at 5-feet 6-inches, with a weight of 125 pounds. She was born on May 15, 1993. About a year ago, maybe two, police believe a DeKalb County man in his mid-forties died at home. Nobody found him until Friday, when a homeless man who'd been coming by to scavenge as of late spotted the remains, according to police. The homeless man told a neighbor, who suggested the man call police, but he didn't, so the neighbor called Monday. Authorities responded and saw the skeleton through a window of the home on Telstar Drive in the Ellenwood area. It lay in bed. Shiera Campbell, DeKalb police spokeswoman, said the county medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death for the man, whose identity hasn't been released. The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), a civil society organisation, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to instruct the military to immediately end any monitoring of Nigerians on the social media. SERAP, in a statement yesterday by its deputy director, Timothy Adewale, also called on the president to ensure that military operations comply with the constitution and the country's obligations under international human rights law. Instead of authorising the monitoring of Nigerians' communication on the social media, SERAP called on the president to develop proactive and holistic policies that ensure technology is used to increase both freedom and security of Nigerians and ensure that everyone benefits from digital technology and not criminalised and penalised for using it. Six dead, tens injured in DEADLY highway crash  has claimed six -The accident involved a saloon car and a bus -Five of the deceased were from the saloon car Six people lost their lives early on Sunday morning after deadly accident involving a saloon car and a bus along the Londiani-Muhoroni-Kisumu Highway . The accident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and consequently swerved into the other lane, colliding with the Toyota Wish head-on.
