GROUP GIVES BUHARI THREE WEEKS TO RETURN TO NIGERIA

File: President Buhari has been in London on medical leave for over three months

Anti-Buhari protesters #ResumeOrResign movement has said it would take President Muhammadu Buhari  to court should he fail to return to Nigeria within 21 days.

The group vowed in a statement that it would go to court to seek an order of mandamus to compel the Federal Executive Council to set up a committee to appraise the health of the president.

London vigil

It further announced that during this time, it will hold its sit-out at the Freedom Park, Ojota, between 9-10a.m each day.

A vigil will also be held in front of the Abuja House in London on Friday, August 18, commencing at 1700hrs.

The statement was signed by Charles Oputa, Leader, #ResumeOrResign Movement, for Our Mumu Don Do Movement; Deji Adeyanju Co-Convener, #ResumeOrResign, for Concerned Nigerians; and Ariyo-Dare Atoye, Co-Convener, #ResumeOrResign, for Coalition in Defence of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution (CDNDC).

President Buhari has been out of the country for over hundred days on medical leave.

Armed Robber Burnt To Death In Calabar By Mob After Juju Failed February 16, 2017 A dead man was found lying by the side of the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Murtala Mohammed Highway, closed to RCC roundabout, Calabar after he was burnt to death by an angry mob. 3 SUSPECTED THIEVES ARRESTED AT THE LAGOS HIGH COURT

File Photo The Police at the Lion Building Division, Lagos Island, Lagos have arrested three suspected thieves who allegedly jumped into the High Court premises at Igbosere Road on Lagos Island at midnight with dangerous weapons to steal. Man allegedly chops off pregnant woman’s hand A man, who was engaged in a fight with his neighbour in Isaba-Ekiti, allegedly chopped off the left wrist of a pregnant woman, Aisha Adam, with a cutlass. A News Agency of Nigeria correspondent, who visited the pregnant woman and mother of four on her hospital bed on Monday, reports that the left hand of the victim was cut off from the wrist. According to CBS affiliate WJHL, Scott Edmisten was “unsteady” and “very angry” when authorities pulled him over during a traffic stop this week. On Tuesday, WREG reported Edmisten was driving on a suspended license when he was caught going 55 mph in a 30 mph zone. He allegedly floored it, reaching speeds of 80 mph before finally coming to a stop and taken into custody. An inventory of his vehicle recovered a loaded .357 magnum, a loaded .45 semi auto, a full auto AR rifle in .223 caliber, a full auto AR rifle in .308 caliber, over 900 rounds of ammunition, a mask and black fatigues.
