GROUP GIVES BUHARI THREE WEEKS TO RETURN TO NIGERIA
Anti-Buhari protesters #ResumeOrResign movement has said it would take President Muhammadu Buhari to court should he fail to return to Nigeria within 21 days.
The group vowed in a statement that it would go to court to seek an order of mandamus to compel the Federal Executive Council to set up a committee to appraise the health of the president.
London vigil
It further announced that during this time, it will hold its sit-out at the Freedom Park, Ojota, between 9-10a.m each day.
A vigil will also be held in front of the Abuja House in London on Friday, August 18, commencing at 1700hrs.
The statement was signed by Charles Oputa, Leader, #ResumeOrResign Movement, for Our Mumu Don Do Movement; Deji Adeyanju Co-Convener, #ResumeOrResign, for Concerned Nigerians; and Ariyo-Dare Atoye, Co-Convener, #ResumeOrResign, for Coalition in Defence of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution (CDNDC).
President Buhari has been out of the country for over hundred days on medical leave.
