Ghanaian Reggae musician Ekow Micah has stood his ground regarding his stance for smoking "wee". Micah referred to the Holy Bible and cited an instance where God smoked marijuana popularly known as "wee"

In an interview with Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM's "Entertainment Review", Ekow Micah said he smokes because the almighty God smoked. He quoted Psalm 18:7-8 to buttress his point.

"The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it".

This news comes after dancehall artist Samini admitted to also consuming the illegal narcotic in the comfort of his home. Ekow Micah was arrested, charged and put on trial for possessing illegal wee. He was later acquitted and discharged by an Accra Circuit Court.

There was pandemonium in some part of Akure, the Ondo State capital   on Monday   night following the killing of no fewer than ten people by suspected cult members . LEADERSHIP investigation revealed that no fewer than ten suspected cultists had been murdered in the last three days when rival groups engaged gunfire on themselves. TERRORIST ATTACK;2 KILLED AS FIVE TERRORISTS SURRENDER

Two persons have been confirmed dead with three others seriously injured following an ambush by suspected Boko Haram terrorists along Damaturu, Biu road Sunday afternoon. A military source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, disclosed that the insurgents had buried IEDs along the highway. It was gathered that the travelers, who took off from Damaturu on their way to Biu, were ambushed some 60 kilometres to their destination. According to the source, the militants opened fire indiscriminately on the travelers and that in an attempt to escape, the IEDs went off killing two persons on the spot.
