An alleged kidnapper nearly lost his life yesterday after he was beaten to a pulp by an angry mob in Lagos state.

 

The alleged kidnapper was mercilessly beaten before he was saved by a lawmaker

A suspected kidnapper was given the beating of his life after he was caught hiding a boy in a sack yesterday in Orile area of Lagos State. He was almost killed by mob before a lawmaker, Hon. Otunba Ishola Ibrahim Obanla intervened.

According to reports, the suspected kidnapper wore 3 different cloths together with a black Toy Gun, 2 different ID CARDS, a yam & bread in a black sack. 

The little boy was rescued from a big sack where he kept him. The online report revealed that residents of the Street named "OSHODI STREET" in Orile, Lagos State were alerted by passers-by when they noticed the suspicious movement of the alleged kidnapper. He was searched and all the above listed items were found in his custody including the kidnapped boy in a big sack.

The aggrieved residents stoned, planked and used different dangerous weapons on him.

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, May 9, remanded a politician identified as Charles Eni-Umukoro over the murder of his wife, Louisa Eni-Umukoro, who was a director in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Justice Mary-Anne Aninih ordered the remand of Eni-Umukoro in Kuje Prison, FCT pending the hearing of his bail application. The Inspector General of Police (IGP) in February charged Umukoro with culpable homicide, which is punishable with death under Section 221 of the Penal Code. The defendant however denied the allegation. Amilcar Henriquez shot dead in his Panama home . Police in Panama say national team soccer player Amilcar Henriquez has been shot dead while leaving his home. The press chief for Panama’s National Police says the killing happened Saturday in the country’s Colon province. Authorities say a gunman shot the 33-year-old midfielder several times. Another two people were wounded. The player died at a nearby hospital. President Juan Carlos Varela has condemned the killing on his Twitter account. February 15 2017 A homicide investigation is underway Wednesday after two bodies, presumed to be missing 13-year-olds Liberty German and Abigail Williams, were found on Tuesday.
