A woman has said that surgery for incontinence left her unable to have sex with her partner because her vagina ‘bit’ his penis. Theresa Bartram, 50, had the operation to lift her bladder using a plastic mesh, but it was fitted too low and eroded through her vaginal wall. Mrs Bartram, from Brighton, said that she had not had sex for seven years until she had the operation that involved the use of a plastic mesh sling called a transvaginal tape(TVT) to stop her leaking. She said that the sex was better until two years later in 2009.She said: ‘It was like it had grown teeth. His willy was bright red and spouting blood. There was a big red stain spreading between us on the sheets. ‘After that he was scared of my lady garden and approached it as if it was a Venus flytrap and he was a fly.’ She was adamant that that the injury was caused by the mesh but doctors assured her everything was fine. They avoided sex and six months later they split up. She stopped eating as her confi...

By
Image
About a year ago, maybe two, police believe a DeKalb County man in his mid-forties died at home. Nobody found him until Friday, when a homeless man who'd been coming by to scavenge as of late spotted the remains, according to police. The homeless man told a neighbor, who suggested the man call police, but he didn't, so the neighbor called Monday. Authorities responded and saw the skeleton through a window of the home on Telstar Drive in the Ellenwood area. It lay in bed. Shiera Campbell, DeKalb police spokeswoman, said the county medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death for the man, whose identity hasn't been released. But it may be a challenge. "Right now, they don't even know how long he's been dead," Campbell said. The going theory Monday was that he could've been dead two years. Neighbors told Channel 2 Action News the man's two sisters moved him in about four years ago. Their paren...

Experts said the number of children used in suicide attacks by Boko Haram surged to 27 in the first quarter of this year, compared to nine over the same period in 2016. Since 2014, 117 children — the “vast majority” of them girls — have been used to carry out attacks in public places across Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon, said the report by the United Nations children’s agency UNICEF. Four children were used to carry out bomb attacks in 2014, 56 in 2015, 30 in 2016 and 27 in the first three months of 2017, reported UNICEF. “The increase reflects an alarming tactic by the insurgents,” said the report. “This is the...
