MURDER ;PASTOR AND HIS WIFE SHOT DEAD IN FRONT OF 2 DAUGHTERS,ONE OF THEM 3 YEAR OLD (PHOTO)

A pastor and his wife have been brutally murdered right inside their home as their little daughter watched on quite helplessly.

Proud Kanyungwe, a Zimbabwean pastor and his wife, Belinda Tarisai Mukucha have been killed.

The pair were shot and killed by two armed robbers in South Africa while their two daughters, one of them aged three years, watched helplessly.

According to The Chronicle, the armed robbers went away with two cellphones and a laptop.

Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Captain Kholeka Mhlongo confirmed the incident, which occurred on Thursday shortly after 2AM at the couple's rented home in Scottsville Extension in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal province.

Capt Kholeka Mhlongo said the suspects used a concrete brick to break the front door to gain entry into the house.

He identified the deceased pastor as Proud Kanyungwe (32) and his wife, Belinda Tarisai Mukucha (28). Kanyungwe was a senior pastor at the Grace International Church.

Capt Mhlongo said Kanyungwe woke up and went to investigate after hearing noise.

"Two armed gunmen entered the deceased's rented house at around 2AM. We suspect when he (Kanyungwe) saw the door opening he tried to wrestle with the suspects and during the scuffle, one of the two men pulled out a gun and shot him," he said.

The suspects then got into the house and shot Mukucha while she was walking out of her bedroom door as her children were watching.

The suspects came through the backyard and tried to gain entry through the garage roof.

"They removed some tiles and they couldn't get access into the house. They then came to open the garage door and disconnected the alarm there," said Capt Mhlongo.

He said the robbers then forced open the security gate and hit the door with a concrete brick.

The suspects are still at large and police have since launched a manhunt for them

There was a big red stain spreading between us on the sheets. ‘After that he was scared of my lady garden and approached it as if it was a Venus flytrap and he was a fly.’ She was adamant that that the injury was caused by the mesh but doctors assured her everything was fine. They avoided sex and six months later they split up. She stopped eating as her confi...

By
Image
About a year ago, maybe two, police believe a DeKalb County man in his mid-forties died at home. Nobody found him until Friday, when a homeless man who'd been coming by to scavenge as of late spotted the remains, according to police. The homeless man told a neighbor, who suggested the man call police, but he didn't, so the neighbor called Monday. Authorities responded and saw the skeleton through a window of the home on Telstar Drive in the Ellenwood area. It lay in bed. Shiera Campbell, DeKalb police spokeswoman, said the county medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death for the man, whose identity hasn't been released. But it may be a challenge. "Right now, they don't even know how long he's been dead," Campbell said. The going theory Monday was that he could've been dead two years. Neighbors told Channel 2 Action News the man's two sisters moved him in about four years ago. Their paren...

Since 2014, 117 children — the “vast majority” of them girls — have been used to carry out attacks in public places across Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon, said the report by the United Nations children’s agency UNICEF. Four children were used to carry out bomb attacks in 2014, 56 in 2015, 30 in 2016 and 27 in the first three months of 2017, reported UNICEF. “The increase reflects an alarming tactic by the insurgents,” said the report. “This is the...
