Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has claimed that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign offered him half a million dollars to support him during the election.

In an interview with New York radio station Hot 97, Jackson said that during Trump’s campaign, he was offered $500,000 in what the rapper claimed was an effort to reach out to black voters.
“I was like, nah, that’s not good money,” the rapper said on the program. “Yeah I’m not gonna do that … that’s not worth it.”

The rapper, who was promoting “Power,” his television show on Starz, also called Trump’s election an “accident.”

“If you were president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing,” 50 Cent said. “I think he was [campaigning] to build his profile for a bigger deal on television, and everything else.”

The rapper continued: “I don’t think anything has divided people as fast” as Trump has.
The White House redirected a request for comment about the allegation to the Trump campaign, which didn’t immediately respond.
In 2015, 50 Cent told The Daily Beast that he supported then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, exclaiming, “It’s Hillary time!”

He added that he felt like Clinton “was the president already once,” because of how close she was to the position during her husband’s presidency.

Gunmen suspected to be militants on Thursday morning invaded Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, Lagos, abducting the principals and some students. The kidnappers were said to have stormed the school in the early hours when the students were at the morning assembly. The gunmen abducted the principal of the junior secondary school, Mr. Oyesola and Mr. Akirinmade who is the Principal of the senior secondary school. They also abducted some of the students. The State Security Service (SSS), on Saturday, announced the arrest of Husseini Maitangaran, a top commander of by Islamic State of West Africa (ISWA), otherwise known as Boko Haram. German national dies after slumping at Lagos airport A German national, Mr Brenard Christo, who slumped  on Friday  at the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, has died at an undisclosed hospital.
