241 NIGERIAN WOMEN INCLUDING 5 NURSING MOTHERS DEPORTED FROM EUROPE

241 Nigerian women including five nursing mothers were repatriated to the country on Tuesday following their failed attempt to take the illegal Libyan routes to Europe.

According to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), a total of 257 Nigerians offered themselves to be returned to the country with assistance of the International Organisation for Migration.  They were transported in a chartered Airbus A330-200 flight with Registration number 5A- LAT at 9.15pm therough the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The returnees, among them two children, four male adults, four teenage boys, were received by Suleiman Yakubu, the Zonal Coordinator of NEMA Southwest.  Yakubu enjoined the returnees to embrace the change mantra of the federal government.  He urged them to remain positive and focused on contributing their quota to national development, instead of seeking greener pastures where it doesn't exist.

Yakubu noted that they would not be treated as second class citizens in their own country, unlike what they face abroad after migrating illegally.  He disclosed that the European Union was providing the reintegration assistance, urging them to make use of the initiative and better their lives.

A young teenage couple accused of snatching their newborn baby from hospital have been briefly reunited with their daughter after five days apart. Jayden Lavender, 14, and fiancée Jenifer Morrison, 15, smuggled three-day-old Aria out of the hospital in Sydney at 12.30am on Thursday. SAPULPA, Okla. - Police say an elementary school teacher was arrested on multiple charges after accidentally leaving her Facebook page open on a school computer. Officers were called to Holmes Park Elementary School on Monday after a teacher found Megan Sloan's Facebook page open on a computer, according to KOKI-TV. Authorities say the page featured a conversation where Sloan reportedly asked about using and selling heroin. Detectives told KOKI that during the investigation, Sloan allegedly admitted to pawning two iPads that belonged to the school district. She also reportedly admitted to using money from field trips for gas and drugs. This is really shocking. A teenage girl from Imo State identified as Chidinma Iheoma was caught by security operatives with human head. According to the security men, the head which was detached from the deceased body – was found with the girl who carried it in a bag before she was apprehended. When quizzed by security operatives in a video footage posted online, she initially claimed she was on her way to bury the head but later disclosed that her friend was the person who cut the head and that she has killed two people so far.
